Great price for a superior product
We just finished an ice cream party. I took a week making different flavers of ice cream, gelato, frozen yogert and sorbets. Everyone commented on how professional the frozen deserts looked in these pint containers. They work great and are easy (once filled) to find a place even in a crowded freezer. Stood up well in dry ice to keep them cold in our travle to the party. I honestly believe these containers helped making the party special. One warning; I thought when I ordered these that 25 would be a years supply, but they work so much better than grocery store disposable plastic containers (you know what i mean theystart with an H or aZ et al).and they are inexpensive enough to give away! I'm thinking of trying them for soup or chili for our guests to take home after the party. Get some you won't be dissapointed Looks like I'll be ordering more soon.

So cute for gifts!
I received an ice cream maker for a wedding gift (Cuisinart) and omg, it makes delicious ice cream. So good I don't think I can ever go back to store-bought ice cream. I wanted to share the yumminess so I planned to give away a lot of ice cream during the holidays and needed some containers to do it with. These containers seem sturdy and well made. I created labels with Avery brown paper kraft labels, printed with my cheapie inkjet. I placed some clear packing tape over the labels to make them waterproof since I imagined they might run after collecting condensation in the freezer. These containers do have some small holes in the lid which is not evident in the picture. I think they are meant to double as soup containers and the holes are meant to let steam escape? If you want to store ice cream for a long time, I would probably put some saran wrap on the ice cream top before putting the lid on. However, the ice cream does NOT last long in our house and it did not last long at our friend's houses either, so I didn't worry about trying to "seal" the ice cream. The containers are good quality and even if you get some ice cream on the as you're scooping, it easily wipes off without staining.

Perfect for ice cream
I bought a package of these to use with our ice cream maker, and we have plowed right through them! Good with a tight enough seal for the lid to cling; I would not use for soup or liquids, unless youโre confident they wonโt tip, but these have been perfect for our ice cream needs!

Amazon: Perfection in Frozen Pint Containers!!!
I purchased the 25ct Pint Frozen Containers after, I purchased my Cuisnart Ice Cream Maker on Amazon.. I am a retired Chef, and there is nothing worst than creating a frozen dessert, storing it in a container and finding ice crystals on the top!!! Also, Plastic containers take on the flavor of what ever extract or flavoring you have used before, unless you soak them in bleach, then run them through the dishwasher..Then, the lids of those containers expand and? Yes, you guessed it! Ice crystals and ice cream that has lost it's texture.. I especially, love these pint sized containers because if I make a basic base of an ice cream or sorbet, I might want to have differnt variations, or my family might want different sauces, candies, cookies or nuts in theirs.. This way, everyone gets what they want!!!If,I make a batch, I usually like to share my culinary delights with friends and business partners, pints are easier to distribute among Friends. Especially, those on that alleged "diet",with a pint of heaven, they can always go to the gym and work it off, without too much guilt! LOL!!! These containers are also excellent for storing left-over Asian Food and they are storing soups,as well!!! The price of 25ct/ pint containers was less than one piece of tupperware.. Amazon, rocks..I checked out local, Gourmet & Culinary Stores and they were more expensive and were not as efficent. These seal tightly, but allow the dessert or food to breathe, which is a very good thing!!!

Ice Cream stays scoopable
I make home made ice cream quite often and have found that using a plastic or tupperware type container in the freezer results in the ice cream freezing too hard. These little pint containers are great. The ice cream stays soft and scoopable. The lids are easy to write on and Sharpie does not smear. They're also great if you want to give a friend or neighbor a pint of ice cream and not worry about them returning your container.

Safe, chemical-free storage for frozen foods
I love these containers. I've completely eliminated plastic storage at home - it's either glass (mostly for the refrigerator) or these containers. The only thing I still wrap is meat and baked goods and I use freezer paper for those. I buy both the pint and quart size in these containers and use them for ice cream as well as soup, chili, tomato sauce, beans, and stew. The pint is a nice size for one serving of soup or stew. I don't reuse the containers because we take them straight from the freezer, slit the side, peel them away, and plop the soup, chili, or stew right into a saucepan, but we could be more impatient and then wash and rinse the containers to use again. But I don't mind the single use because I can recycle them (lids too) as paper after I rinse off any food coating the insides - one less item for the landfill. I've seen a couple of reviews complaining about the holes on top - you absolutely want those holes. If you listen carefully, you'll hear the air escaping as you snug the tops down on the container - that's important when freezing. Plus, keep in mind that the food in the container will expand as it freezes. Without the holes in the lid, that additional air can't escape and would end up blowing the lid off. These really are engineered for freezing and work perfectly. I make a lot of soup, chili, and stew in bulk. I also buy beans by weight and cook them myself - cuts salt as well as BPA from the can liners. I absolutely love these over Ziplocs, plastic, or glass. Yes, the sleeves are a little bulky to store. I keep them in a pantry cupboard in my basement and just bring up enough for filling. If you're looking for healthier ways to keep food, you can't grow wrong with these.

... purchased these and the quart size versions and absolutely love them. I am a devoted ice cream hobbyist ...
I purchased these and the quart size versions and absolutely love them. I am a devoted ice cream hobbyist who makes ice cream at home almost daily. I have tried many, many options for storage and have never been satisfied until now. These are perfect for what I do. They are fantastic for giving away and have made my process easier and less expensive. After buying by the sleeve one time I'm am completely converted and will be buying by the case from now on. There is an insert inside of the lid that when you press down gently after you apply the lid it seals tight agains the ice cream keeping it fresh and preventing freezer burn and ice crystals. So, so great. Highly recommended.

Strong enough for ice cream
These are suitably strong enough to scoop ice cream out of without tearing the container. I tried other pint and half pint paper food containers and the spoon would tear the sides and bottom when used for ice cream.
