This is a great, good-sized hide-a-key rock that really looks and feels like a rock! The compartment for the key has a secure little door that looks like it will withstand time and weather. Fits in well with my plant pots, plants and other rocks.

Excellent quality for safely hiding a spare emergency key. Looks and feels like a real rock. Blends in well with other rocks. No issues with opening the key tray. It is a tray that fits deep inside the "rock" keeping rain and snow out. Is NOT a slide cover. There is even a small plastic bag provided to ensure that the spare key stays dry. Nice touch that is greatly appreciated!

When I first got this, I couldn't slide the door open. It was completely stuck but once I forced it open, then I never had a problem again. Aside from that, this works pretty well. It comes with a zip-lock style bag in there so you can keep your keys away from water if this is outside. What I did is to put a spare set of house keys in my shed and then put a pad lock on the shed that uses a combination. The rock doesn't really look real but if you hide this under a plant or somewhere it's not seen, then it won't draw attention but I wouldn't put this out in the yard somewhere as it will stick out. Overall, this is great and helps hide the key but doesn't really look like a natural rock.

Love it. Fake rocks are classic. It is not big enough to hold a whole keyring or too much, but just perfect for one key and to blend in to the landscape.

I wanted to leave a positive review on this product. However, it is fragile. I put my key inside. But I had to set it on the counter because, I had to go deal with something else. It fell off the counter and broke as you can see in the video and pictures. My counter is also not very high up. So it was a short fall. I will say however, it is affordable. It looks kind of real. But when you get close enough you can tell that it's not a real rock. When I tried to open it initially, it was not easy to open. But after finally getting it open, it was easy to open and close. As for how secure it is, I honestly cannot tell you that. Because I did not have it long enough to really tell whether or not people could tell it apart from the other rocks around my home. I may try buying another. But I also may try looking at a different brand. I haven't decided yet.

It looks silly but it gives me great peace of mind. Our main door is the one that locks when it closes. I lost count on how many times I went to check on my mail and forgot the keys, being locked outside. This is a perfect solution for keeping a spare key reachable. It is not too big thought. Bulky keys wont fit.
