Best GPS on the market, well worth the money..
I've used Skycaddie GPS units for over twenty years...my wife bought me a competitor's GPS a few years ago..used it for few weeks and went back to my Skycaddie.. Last year I bought the SX 500 an outstanding GPS, however a few months ago someone stole it off my pull cart while I was in the pro shop, I immediately contacted Skycaddie and had it turned off.. I debated on getting the LX5, told myself it would be to small, wouldn't be able to read the information, would be difficult to swing with a watch on my wrist and on and on.. I was absolutely wrong, this thing is so accurate, very easy to read, no issues with the size on my swing...I love it...I dire anyone to steal this off my wrist.. I've read a few question the cost, it's part of your game, do you play with a $100.00 driver or wear crap shoes..No you don't.. Buy the damm thing and enjoy, you'll thank me...

Works well - mostly
Nice display. Have used for four weeks. Instructions lacking and it takes time to get setup right. First use took over 5 minutes to locate course. Display only stayed for 10 seconds. Took 3 weeks to find and change settings. Lost signal once, locking to a screen and no action would free it. Took 5 minutes to reboot and relocate. Still have time to return, but trying to give it a more extensive workout to be fair.

Awesome and accurate
Works great. High visibility even in the sun. Seems very accurate as well. Sync to their app is very quick especially on Wi-fi. Also looks good if worn as a regular watch if not golfing. Only con to me is being called a "smart watch" , it does not read texts, emails notifications etc...from your phone. Hopefully Skycaddie can do an update to include that

Has stopped working after only two rounds of golf
Ordered this watch on 27 May, have used it once and was looking forward to using it today for a Father's Day round of golf. I turned it on and it started flashing the logo screen, now it will not stop flashing and I cannot even turn it off. I contacted SkyGolf support through chat and the assistance left quite a bit to be desired. The suggestion he gave me was to hold the top right button for 6-10 seconds to allow the device to reset. This did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue, the watch is still flashing right now. So far this watch is a complete piece of crap. UPDATE 24 Jun 22: Contacted SkyGolf customer service to try and get device replaced. Do yourself a favor and just call them, the chat help is no help at all. The gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and since it was a failure within the first 30 days they sent out a replacement which I received today. Will update after a few rounds, if it lasts that long.

Great Product - If You Can Read The Screen
I purchased this product to use as a golf GPS on the course, replacing a Garmin product. It is indeed a great product, but, I was unable to read it, especially wearing polarized sun glasses. I also found it hard to interact with the screen features due to size. I ended up larger SkyCaddie hand held which has proven to be a wonderful upgrade to The GPS I use on the course. The features between the watch and handheld are similar if not identical. It’s an issue of what size is best.

Fantastic
Great GPS golf watch. Not looking to have smartwatch features, just golf, on the wrist? Get this. pulls courses around AZ with zero issues. Big display, brightly colored and easy to use. Loaned it out and buddy was ordering the same day. Legit piece of hardware for average to more serious golfers.

Great value
I got this watch for my wife since she is always asking me for yardages. She actually went online and found it. I have to tell that you that I was a little skeptical on buying this watch since I thought that for such a low price it wouldn't work as well as my watch that is double the price. I have to tell you, we went out last week and both had our watches on. Our yardages were very similar and hers gave us so much more information that mine, like how far our shot was to the water and how deep the greens were. I am very impressed with how this watch works and how clear it is to read. I can't tell you too much about battery life since we have played one round but this watch is definitely an excellent watch to get for the average player.

Good but not great!!!!!
Very good golf gps watch, not perfect as a smartwatch. The Lx5 has a bright easy to read face and offers many great golf hole and course information. It's like owning one of skycaddie handheld golf devices but on your wrist. Easy to use and manipulate screens. It paired with the skycaddie 360 app easily. For just golf it may be the most accurate and best one on the market. It counts steps and gives you your average heart rate on a separate screen. It's at this point the Lx5 falls short of being a true smart/fitness watch. Does not offer phone notifications, predefined workouts or most other features offered by garmin or golfbuddy. If your interested in a golf watch that is accurate, easy to use and offers skycaddie accuracy and detail, this one is one you should look at seriously. If you're wanting a golf gps with true smartwatch you may want to look elsewhere. With this in mind I would definitely recommend the Lx5. At $300.00 it's a bit pricey but does come with a prepaid 3 year skycaddie membership. As for build and durability, only time will tell. The case is plastic, the crystal is plastic and the interhangeable band is silicone or rubber. As for battery usage, you can expect to get two full rounds from a full charge.

Awesome Resolution, very accurate, Great watch !!
Really nice bright vibrant screen, accurate distances and easy interface. Better then the Garmin S60 in terms of screen resolution, graphics and accuracy with distances. Garmin has more features and better integration with your smartphone. If you just want a really good golf watch with accurate distances this is by far the best available. The Garmin is a close second as it does have a better interface and is smoother going between the menu options and has some extra features like caddy assist. For me this was perfect as I didn’t need those extra features from Garmin and didn’t want to pay $200 more.

Very easy to use golf watch
I have had a Skycaddie product before and found it really good. This watch is also fantastic, Clear screen and easy to use. The battery life seems to be very good although I have only had it for 2 weeks. The setting up is not that easy but when Skycaddie app is loaded the syncing to the watch is very easy. Good value for the money and now is the time to buy as there are offers around.

Big Regret
My original review is below and things have gotten worse. Firstly, make sure you try connecting to the satellites the moment you park your car because it can take 30 mins plus to actually locate them (including in bright sunny skies). I’ve taken to using my old Garmin at the same time so I have the distances while I wait for the Sky Caddie to finally connect on the third or fourth hole. Secondly, even when it does connect, I’ve twice had it completely freeze and restart mid round. It will pickup where you left off, provided it can find the satellites again. The battery also doesn’t last two rounds and that’s with a face that goes black. Friends who have the Garmin s40 and s60 can easily get two rounds and that’s with a face that’s always lit up. I no longer care that it’s a three year subscription because there is zero chance I will still be using this thing in three years. **** The screen is great. Easy to move around the hole and all the relevant hazards are shown. The yardages are accurate. Battery is okay (can get 2 rounds out of it). Charges fast. On the downside it doesn’t automatically sense when you hit a shot like the Garmin does, so you have to consciously remember to start the yardage tracking when you want to measure distance. I don’t normally care about this but sometimes when you hit it offline it’s nice to know how far you are from where you just hit it, to have a sense of you’re in the right area. It can take a really long time to find the course and sometimes I’ve had to restart the watch multiple times before it finally finds it. By that time I’m on the third hole. It identifies when you’ve likely left the hole but it just goes to the next hole, not the scorecard. The screen goes black after a time period you can set (max of 30 seconds) and you have to press a button to show the screen, which is a minor annoyance. The watch faces you can choose are nice, but when you’re in golf mode you can’t see the time without jumping through a bunch of hoops, so I’m looking at my phone for the time. Overall it’s very good, but there’s some room for improvement. I also think needing a subscription is lame. With Garmin you get access forever. However, for about half the price of the s62, worth the few drawbacks.

It's a NO from me.
I REALLY wanted to like this, in fact I was desperate to. Problem 1: My local course has 2 courses - both 18 holes, one of them a par 3. The par 3 wasn't mapped. It's the course I use. So, immediately, there's a problem and the watch appears to be pretty much useless if your course isn't mapped. Problem 2: Registration - a complete ache that involves downloading software onto the machine. To sync, you need to register. Problem 3: Syncing. It wouldn't connect via bluetooth. It wouldn't connect via WIFI. It wouldn't connect via USB. All despite spending 2.5 hours with customer support. I'd probably say Customer Support is average. It's available, but it's chat based and heavily dependant on canned responses. Didn't solve my problem, so reluctantly, I'm returning the product. WIll look at the Garmin S60 and even potentially upgrade to the S62. Such a disappointing experience.
