It's just the nature of the material but once it feels a tiny bit of heat it curls up I'm ediately. I'm using these for my bamboo basket steamer for dumplings and before it even touches the steam from the basket, they curl up. Have your food ready to place on yop AS you're dropping these liners if you're using em for the same reason on all sides. Great product though. Made about 50 dumplings in no time and they didn't stick at all.

I use this to steam vegetables of all kinds. I bought it to make my chinese pork dumplings. It works perfect for everything I have tried. I will certainly get my money's worth out of this and it is so much more healthy eating the steamed vegetables and more tasty. It is so easy to use and hardly any clean up. I toss the paper away and dry it off that's it. Best thing I have bought in a long time.

It's a liner - seriously I mean what should I say Its a round sheet of paper for the steamer. Use and throw away. It crumples up well. But do use it and like it!

i use them in my bamboo steamer when i make steamed asian dumplings. if i didn’t clean them immediately, the steamer would get gunky from the starch of dimsum wrappers, and these liners are very thin but still make it so much easier to clean up the steamer. plenty of holes to let steam pass through. i’d recommend them to friends.

I like they overhang so also the sides are protected
