My son's dogs are voracious chewers and most of the "indestructible" chew toys last a few hours with them, at best. This dental stick, however, is AMAZING!!! I just place 6 to 8 pieces of their kibble in the grooves and they will work on it for an hour or more. As an added bonus, their teeth are getting clean too! We've had these for a few weeks now, and they are still very popular, and with it being so easy to put treats in them, I predict they will be a favorite for a long time to come. I highly recommend this toy for aggressive chewers.Update: 12/13 Almost 3 months after purchaseI was sorry to read about other people who have had a bad experience with this product. Normally, my son's dog destroys toys in minutes, but not this one. I'm about to order a replacement, but only because it's starting to stretch out, and some of the nubs are coming off.So, although it appears this chew toy is not for everyone, I've had a good experience with it, and so has another family member who has an aggressive chewer.

This is my dog’s new favorite toy. He loves walking around with it in his mouth, chomping on it, and hitting my other dog in the face. It’s not as bouncy as I thought it would be, but it lands & rolls in interesting ways, making it good for fetch. And the slippery material is easier to pull out of his mouth than his other stickier rubber toys. The 2 negatives that really are fine are: 1) it makes a strange sound when he chews on it, 2) he uses it as a weapon against our other dog, whacking her in the face with it.

This review is for the Kong Dental Stick. I have 4 aggressive chewers, all 4 are Siberian Huskies… a pair of 3 yr olds and a pair of 2 yr olds. I own several Kong products because they have all lasted compared to other toys claiming to work for hard chewers. So far none of them have been torn apart easily, until this one. For reference, we have 3 males (60-65lbs) and 1 female (53 lbs). I mention this because the size was great for our dogs! However, within 5-10 mins of allowing the female to play with it, she broke off a large chunk. Now, I don’t want any of them to play with it because I know it come apart easily.I expected a different kind of product. Kong is known to have the toys that are meant for aggressive chewers. This is my fault for thinking their product standards for these toys are the same. I hate that now I’m going to have to read further into a product listing to specifically look for the words “meant for aggressive chewers” before purchasing anything from them again. 😞

Please note the product is for mild/gentle chewers! Our pup destroyed this toy within an hour of getting it. Not made of the same rubber many Kong toys are made of. Always supervise use. It came apart in chunks. Thankfully there was no choking.

This is very durable and my dog loves it. She loves to chew and this satisfies that.

Dog still bites off pieces. Wish it could be more solid without affecting egficacy

My bulldogs love this. So far it has held up to all their chewing.
