Can you fit 2 boxes on this? Or is it at least wide enough to set in front of 2 boxes?

It is wide enough to put in front of 2 boxes but not big enough to put 2 boxes on it. It is the best mat that I have found to control the spread of the litter in the house. I really like the 3 I have.

Is the bottom of this mat a fabric material, or something more stiff and flexible?

The bottom of the mat is made out of the same material as a wet suit. If a cat pees on it, it won’t go through like a rubber mat. Around the edges is a stitched material that pee can go through. I put an extra large dog pees pad between the waffled top & the bottom.
