Malie Organics' Hydrating Body Cream, Soothes & Protects Skin, 7.5 Fl Oz

Hated this product. So different from sample in hotel. When called the company they said they have two different manufacturers. If you like what the hotel had you should by from hotel otherwise it’s a cheaper version that leaves a greasy residue and smells like plastic for the body cream. Since bought through amazon they could offer no return. Makes absolutely no sense to me. Don’t they offer in hotels so people will buy the product. I even contacted the hotel in Hawaii to see if I could buy some. Who knew?

PLEASE....BUYER BEWARE when purchasing this product!!! I was so excited to receive mine after using a sample at the Royal Hawaiian. Then when it arrived I wasted no time opening the package and testing it out! I missed the beautiful Mango Nectar smell that was so identifiable and took me back to Hawaii! I was SO DISAPPOINTED WHEN I PUT IT ON MY SKIN!!!! SO greasy and NO SMELL WHAT SO EVER!! I was not transported back to Hawaii in any way, shape, or form!! Had I known after reading other negative reviews the same as mine, I would have ordered it directly from the hotel itself! Please do not purchase this! You will be so disappointed and have wasted a lot of money. I would like my money back from Amazon! What a waste!! I will be purchasing from the hotel directly next time as soon as I can use up this imposter of a cream. Please think twice about buying this. So sorry to have to write!!!

Like many other reviewers, we encountered this brand of products when visiting Hawaii. We liked the products, so we decided to order the body lotion. When the product arrived, we felt it was somewhat different from what we had received in Hawaii. The lotion in the hotel was very light and easy to apply. This was a little thicker and heavier. I was a little concerned about whether I had received a knock-off, so I eventually called Malie's customer service department. They confirmed that the retail version of the lotion has a different formulation from the lotion they sell to hotels. It is meant to be thicker and heavier. To some, that may be a good thing. I guess you get more bang for your buck. But we liked the light, airy feel of the original, so we were a little disappointed. It is still a good product with a nice fragrance. We will happily use the remainder of the bottle, but I don't see us ordering another.

Product seems generic. We used this product in Hawaii and loved it. When I bought on Amazon, the smell is different and does not feel the same on skin. Product is still likeable but not anything like the real product.

If you have never used this body cream before (from the maker), you could probably like this okay, but as someone who LOVES Malie products and has used them for years, I was disappointed. I have ordered this a few times via amazon when I need it quick and it has been fine. Thought the reviews stating it wasn’t the same product must have been flukes. Well I was wrong! My latest bottle came and it was so runny. My body does not feel hydrated. I feel sticky. The real body cream comes out thick and sticks to your hand even if you turned it upside down. Same for the bottle. You would have to shake it upside down to make it come out. The bottle I got via amazon is so watery, it’s running through my fingers. The smell is very weak compared to the real cream. I’ve used this body cream in this scent for years and whatever came in the bottle this time is NOT it. It must have been watered down or cut with another lotion or a damaged batch! I will never order via amazon again. The Malie products are AMAZING, just buy them from the maker’s website.

I love this cream. Had samples from resort in Maui and ordered it after they ran out. Same wonderful scent that reminds you of Maui vacation before pandemic! Will buy again but caution on value. They state $32 for $3.20 per ounce. However, the container is only 7.5 ounces. So the cost is more like $4.25 per ounce nor is it .625 pound it is more like .47 pound. That is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Yep the reviews are correct. This does not smell as good as the hotel samples I still had my sample from a trip to oahu So I compared them side by side. Shame on mailie organic. Keep ur bait n hook in the ocean

Great scent except it was all over the packaging when it arrived...ordered it twice and each time it came in a padded envelope...and the containers are a brittle form of plastic. The result was broken containers each time with the liquid all over the inside of the plastic bag that retains the cream. I suggested after the first order to send the new order in a small corrugated container. Nope. sent in padded envelope again...broken. Too bad as really liked the scent.
