Bevy Smart Photo System, 2TB, Black

We have had our Bevy for two months and love it. I requires little or no attention, but maintains our extensive photo albums seamlessly. The software is unique and easy. I highly recommend this device for those who take their photo collections seriously.

NO SUPPORT AVAILABLE AFTER AUGUST 31, 2016--This seems to be a great product. However, I received the following email from Bevy on July 11, 2106. "We regret to inform you that Lineage Labs, Inc., the maker of Bevy, has discontinued normal operations due to insufficient funding and will no longer be shipping Bevys. The Company is providing a Transition Period effective immediately through August 31, 2016 during which time Customers will be provided email support at [email protected] on a best-effort basis. At the conclusion of the Transition Period technical support and warranty for Bevy will be discontinued. We encourage you to backup all the photos and videos on your Bevy using the instructions here: [...] We are immensely grateful to all of our customers, partners, investors, and friends who helped us realize our vision of building a better way to manage your family's photos and videos. We were inspired by your support and your appreciation of Bevy made all the hard work worthwhile. While we all wish the outcome were different, we feel honored to have been given an opportunity to create something that would have a positive impact on the lives of the families we served. With best wishes, Team Bevy" Sucks! Once the operating systems are updated, it won't work anymore.

So far I am still learning how to use this product. Setup was very simple and I have uploaded most of my photos. In the FAQ's on this site it says it automatically removes duplicates. I tried this by uploading the 2 of the same exact photos and it did not delete one. Often times the dates of the pictures is off as well. I have pictures that were taken in 2004, but the Bevy thinks it was 2011 not sure why. All in all I like it for storing all the pictures we have and having access to them easily. I am hoping there are many updates in the future to make the device smarter.

So easy to setup. Plug it in, follow 3 simple steps. Pictures from my phone uploaded in no time. Only downside is with the PC. Reviewing pictures from your phone is very easy through the app. No such luck reviewing them from your PC. With PC you can only upload or download and that's it.

Great idea, but is not all it is said to be. In order to view the photos on the TV, you have to manually scroll through them on your phone. While there is a screensaver, it is not controllable (no way to choose the way, or the length of time, you want to display). Because we have a network inside our house (more than one router) before we connect to the internet, the remote access to photos does not work either. Right now, it is just an expensive back up hard drive that connects to your phone.

Easy to setup, easy to use and works flawlessly with Apple products.

The website is not working. I am sure the product is great but I would like to have had everything up and running right away. I returned this product for that reason (the website Down).
