Donner Mini Auto Wah Pedal Dynamic Wah Guitar Effect Pedal Envelope Filter True Bypass

Great sounding pedal, especially for the price. It's solid, and I love the compact size. Since you can control 4 parameters, I was able to dial in the exact sound I was looking for. Response is easily adjustable to customize for the guitar, technique and style you want to play. Definitely going to try more of these pedals.

This auto wah pedal is pretty straight forward, I wouldn't see myself adjusting it too much after I found a sweet spot. I like the rhythmic accents this thing adds when you strum small chord forms or octaves in circular way with your right hand (assuming you are a right handed player). I have not yet tried it on the bass guitar however if there ample signal output from your pickups it adds a quack to the sound that is useful in many contexts. Not that this matters functionally but I love the purple! As I continue to investigate the Donner pedal line I feel like a teenager discovering these new little affordable gadgets that when used properly add to the overall impact of the sound. Well obviously I am not a teenager but I still have a voracious appetite for creating interesting sounds, riffs and combination with the guitar and pedals. I highly recommend this pedal, perhaps not before modulations fx and echoes, etc, but it definitely has its place in a guitarist's arsenal. Check it out. Thanks to RV Velasco owner and proprietor of Shaggy's Studio in Cat City, CA for all his support, fine camera/audio work and for his dogs and my dog that help us get through the days. Thanks to Donner keep up the great work. Donner Mini Auto Wah Pedal Dynamic Wah Guitar Effect Pedal

I chose this pedal as a low cost alternative to using my Morley pro wah pedal for funk stuff with the big band I play with. The Morley sound cannot be bettered but the pedal is large, heavy, takes a lot of room on my board and with the big band I am often playing in a confined set-up space with my music stand in from of me. The Donner auto wah is tiny and being auto does not require constant foot pumping to produce the funky wah tome. It did take me a while to set up exactly the tone that suits the funk rhythm but once set, the tone suits the music very well, cuts through the brass and reeds and is noise free. It teams well with the Kokko compressor I leave on nearly all the time. While it will not completely replace the tome of my traditional wah pedal it works in the genre I need it for with the big band.

This Donner Mini Auto Wah auto-wahwah has a lot more "personality" - I guess you might call it mojo - than some other auto-wahs I've used. It resets the envelope fast enough at the appropriate setting to do some pretty rapid-fire licks... You get "Wa wah wah wah wah ... Waaaaah wah wah.", like you want. Some of the other envelope filters (autowahs) I have tried don't reclose the envelope fast enough, so the same riff would be like, "Wa ah ah ah ah ... Waaaaah wah ah." The knob controlling how quickly the filter resets is called "decay" on this one. It's the little one on the right side. I also noticed that the timbre ("tone") is nice and fat-like . Overall very good quality indeed for the price. It's a very fun and useful pedal. It would be a good pick for a bit of inspiration, to spice up a practice session, or get excited about playing guitar if practice were beginning to feel like a bit of a drag. I'm a professional musician (I get paid to play occasionally,) and I won't hesitate to use this pedal at a gig. It has good tone, and acceptable action. ---Otto Waugh at Ottowa Auto-wahwah

Does the job, easy to set, but sound not as noticeable as desired.

I was able to dial in a pretty decent Jerry Garcia kind of sound which was my goal so I'm happy with it

Horrible. Faulty unit. They need an exact specific chord but dont send it with the adapter chord. Thing doesnt turn on at all i turned it on while in the pedal loop and it completely shuts off the audio.

Only took me a few minutes to get something that sounds reasonably close to Jerry's guitar sound on Estimated Prophet using this pedal and just a touch of reverb from the built in effects in my mixer. I am very impressed with the ease of recreating such an iconic sound without the need to spend a lot of money.

Tiene mejor funcionamiento en guitarras, en bajo le doy un 7/10, pero por el precio es muy bueno

This wah pedal is kind of usable, not a real wah sound but it could be ok if a slight wah sound is needed.

No sound coming from the pedal Tried many cables and nothing changes

Build quality is very sturdy, but the effect itself, even playing with adjustments, isn't very strong. If I hadn't heard any other manufacturers auto wah, I may have thought this pedal was good, but given how weak it is, it doesn't seem like it was a great purchase.
