I don't have medical conditions, but i did get a tattoo the week we got season passes to the water park. I got this to try and not let any water on my arm. It 100% worked. Water never touch my arm whatsoever. I spent hours riding water slides and in the wave pool. I didn't have to mess with it at all. It stayed in place. I used it everyday for a few weeks until it was fully healed. Highly recommended if you want to swim without water touching your arm. I think this would be good for people that havr wounds also. It would keep your dressings dry.

It really works. I thought it would be like the old bathing caps that leaked. but my PICC line stayed completely dry. I was abele to swim in my pool for the first time in months. Wish I had known about this a long time ago! Don’t wear it any longer than the suggested amount of time, as it’s very snug/tight.

The medium size was way to tight and caused pain in my picc line and cut off circulation, but was thicker and no problems on or off. Returned for size large. It ripped first use. It is much thinner rubber above the first fold. (About half) See picture. It is the exact same size as the medium except 1 inch longer and thinner rubber. It would have been comfortable and fit. I do not have nails or jewelry snd went to put it on like I did the medium. My hand just went thru it. I would not recommend the large size. You can visually see the difference in thickness right where it tore. Trying to tape it until I get a replacement from another company.

I had a PICC line for over 3 months and this allowed me to shower and I didn't need help like I did with trying to cover it with wrap and plastic.

I ordered these because of my inner elbow eczema that would flare up really bad after showering from getting wet and from the soap getting on it, I have to wash them with special stuff. Keeping them dry and being able to shower normally has been so helpful. I also hoped they would work for sitting in the hot tub too but due to how sweaty it got in there from the heat it was still causing irritation. They are supposed to work for swimming but I have not tried that, seems it would be a little hard as they fill with air and to fully get all the air out you would prob need help. My biggest complaint is how tight and uncomfortable they are, I’m not sure if I should have gotten a bigger size but I feel any bigger it wouldn’t be enough to keep the water out but it’s so tight I always have red rings around my arm at both ends and I make sure to shower quick so it’s not on so long but I don’t know how anyone swims or spends prolonged amounts of time wearing them due to the immense discomfort. Also they are so extremely expensive. But I was desperate. I would have got the cheaper ones I saw but those said they couldn’t be submerged in water where these could, however by the time I tried them in the hot tub it was too late to send them back when I realized I didn’t need to submerge them anymore but only needed for the shower.they are also very long, I wish there was an option for length because they truly cover more of my arm than is needed which is kinda annoying as I really only need about half the length.

Bloccs allows me to shower with a PICC line without fear of a wet dressing causing problems or further infections. This sleeve works so well that I have been able to swim for more than a hour with my PICC line completely submerged and leave the pool with a dry dressing. The peace of mind I get from this product is priceless; it is a must have product for anyone with a PICC line!

This sleeve was perfect for covering my PICC lines and providing wetness protection and still have flexibility to move the arm in the shower! I should have bought this a long time ago!

This is the best shower cover for a picc I have found. It is easy to put on yourself and keeps my picc nice and dry. It is a bit tight for the first few uses, but becomes more comfortable with time. Very other cover I’ve tried let in water, but not this!

Excellent product. I fractured both my elbows before a trip to Austria.... not great however you look at it. Nevertheless I was determined to enjoy it and use the spa facilities. I had a fibre glass cast on my right arm from my forearm to the lower section of my upper arm. My arm was immobilised in a semi straight way, as opposed to bent. This cover worked wonderfully. It was a little stiff to begin with but formed a water and air tight seal around the cast. I wanted something that would 1 protect the cast, 2 keep it dry, 3 be easy to take on and off 4, be light weight and 5. easy to dry. This does everything. The cover kept the cast dry at all times and was air tight. I was fully submerged in water, and in the jacuzzi and outdoor showers. Not a drop went in. You do have to release the air pressure that build up when you first immerse into the water but it’s very easy. It’s simply to put on after the first few uses. By the third use I was able to get it on and take it off independently. It is extremely light. I tried a full length arm glove which was rubber too but much thicker and heavier and less effective. Ergo this was brilliant. Obviously you don’t want to have group or washing or drying this. It’s very simple to wash, and dry. As it’s totally waterproof a towel will wick all the droplets left after hanging in directing for a few seconds. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product for anyone looking to use a beach / pool / hot tub / jacuzzi / swim or do any other near water activities and want to make sure your cast doesn’t get wet. Also Perfect in the shower and bath - revolutionised my washing routine whilst injured. I even forgot that I was wearing it at times. Great. Ordered via amazon prime In the evening it arrived the next morning. Fantastic!! It would be nice to have it in a few different colours, I actually quite like the blue but I’m sure some would like other colours; grey, black, red, pink etc. Other word of warning. If you’re in a very hot place this will not allow your skin or cast to breath so do take ventilation intervals to ensure you’re not sweating. Lastly this is a natural rubber material so it will rip and degrade so be mindful of how you treat it. Mine was fine for the intensive use that it had over 3 weeks but i can imagine if treated very badly it might not last well. It would be great to have a way to recycle it since I’m unlikely (hopefully) to break the elbow again, so a return / clean recycle option would be great for the environment and raw materials used (as profits presumably)
