My dog absolutely loves these chew toys. She’s a fairly aggressive chewer, and these have held up surprisingly well. I’ve had them for a couple of months now, and she still hasn’t chewed all the way through them. I usually give them to her when she’s in her kennel or needs something to keep her occupied, and they do a great job of keeping her busy. They’re also easy to clean, which is a huge plus for any dog toy. I would feel comfortable giving these to puppies as long as you choose the appropriate size and supervise them, and they’re especially great for dogs that love to chew on sticks but need a safer alternative. Suitable for Dogs: Great for aggressive chewers and keeps my dog entertained. Value for Money: They last much longer than many other chew toys I’ve purchased. Appearance: Looks like a real stick, which my dog seems to love. Size: Good size options available depending on your dog’s breed and chewing style. Squeakiness: No squeaker, which I actually prefer. Sound: Quiet chew toy, great for kennels and indoor use. Answering the Questions: Can I give these to my puppy? Yes, with supervision and the appropriate size. They’re a great alternative to real sticks. How long do these toys usually last? I’ve had mine for a couple of months with an aggressive chewer, and they’re still going strong. How can I clean these dog chew toys? They’re very easy to clean with soap and water. Are these toys safe for aggressive chewers? In my experience, yes. My dog is a strong chewer, and these have held up very well compared to many other toys.

These are great, very durable, and have lasted a very long time. Much safer for my dogs than the random sticks they find in the yard. They do get shorter with chewing eventually, but they don't break off in little chunks like I've seen with some nylon chews, and they don't splinter like wood. Medium size works well for both my 16 lb Cavalier and my 60 lb Pyrenees/Golden mix. They're both moderate-to-aggressive chewers, though size obviously affects how much damage they can do. I wish you could buy the hemp chew separately because that one is very much a favorite in my house, so after 2 years and 2 purchases, I have barely any left of the remaining hemp chew, but still 2 of the dogwood chews that neither dog is as interested in anymore. I'd love to buy a couple more of just the hemp one.

I’ve purchased this item multiple times because my dogs love them. It’s like they’re chewing on a stick, but they’re not sticks. They’re much safer for them, but they get the same flavor. They’re very durable and last a long time, well worth the money.

Ok so my big boy Oso (Pitbull 1year and 6months) loves it and makes it very clear to his little brother lol. My little man Bruno is still learning what all the hype is about lol. I think the medium is was too big for Bruno (Pit-bull 4 1/2 months old) but no worries he is slowly learning as you can see! Made in USA and quality is very strong and durable. Got these for my puppy when he was somewhere around 10 months old. Like most puppies he was a chewer. Having a half dozen around the house definitely reduced how much he tried to chew items I wouldn't want him to. They would round off where he chewed them coming apart in little grains. Nothing jagged. He is a small dog though (under 17 lbs fully grown), so I would monitor how they are with a bigger dog who might be able to split them open completely. Eventually he stopped chewing up things unless they were food related, so we still have a few but he barely touches them now.

I had to buy six because of how much my two dogs love them. They even fight over them sometimes. They are hard, but soften as they chew so no worries on their teeth. It definitely helped redirect our puppy from chewing on sticks and wood furniture. They last a good amount of time considering they chew on them daily and are used as their “I’m so excited I need to grab a toy” moment. UPDATE 6/23/2026 My youngest dog is a HEAVY chewer and I no longer love these or buy them. I noticed little pieces were getting swallowed to the point where I could see little bits in his stool. They seemed to still be very hard. Although they were broken down a little, they were still large enough to be noticeable. Maybe the size of rice grains. After looking into the bones more, it is not all natural. There is plastic in these and that is what my dog is passing (I hope all of it has passed). I got these to be a safe fully natural alternative long lasting chew, but nope. I should have deep dove more, but I feel like the information should be fully upfront and transparent. I shouldn't have to dig to really find out what all the materials are.

The items seem to be good quality. I got them to help keep my 12 week old lab puppy busy since he wants to chew everything, but he isn’t interested in them at all. I’m not exactly sure what is supposed to keep his interest in these sticks but it doesn’t seem to be working with him and definitely isn’t making him calm. They are made of a very hard material and seem like they will last quite some time (and ours will because he isn’t chewing them at all) maybe he will be interested in them when he gets a little older…? This is just my honest review, they may work for some pups, just not mine.

Have been regularly buying these for my corgi for about a year and a half. The 2 pack lasts about a month or 2 each time. Pieces break off in small enough pieces that they safely pass through his digestive system. He gnaws each one down to about 1/4 the original size before we take it away and give him a new one. He continues to have regular bowel movements and has a healthy appetite so I can’t imagine any problems arising after so long. I have tried other alternatives and every other similar chew breaks off in larger pieces and didn’t feel comfortable letting him chew/eat them. I noticed there are a few 1 star reviews saying their dogs got sick off these but after a year and a half I have had 0 issues with this product. I guess it depends on the dog and how big of pieces they are swallowing. My dog ingests pieces about the size of a grain of rice so just pay attention and you should be fine.

I should have trusted the 1 star reviews... Not sure how this could be a 4.5 star product. Bought the 2 pack, and both pieces are not at all lasting. Within minutes, bits were dropping off. This is scary. Throwing it out and going back to Benebone.

Both of our dogs love these bones! They typically go through bones way too quickly but these last for months and still keep them busy. I would say that the non-mint flavours are more of a favourite by our pups, but they still seem to love any of them. It's hard to find a bone that isn't too damaging on dog teeth and are not full of harmful chemicals, so we were very pleased to find these.
