Very tasty, however a little pricey for what you get (2 servings)

I really wanted to like these. For the price I was very disappointed. They are not light and fluffy like a meringue should be, the taste is not good, and they stick to my teeth and seem stale. The packaging was crushed but because they are not meringue texture, they weren’t broken (they should have been!) Will not buy again.

I love the flavor, love the melt-in-your-mouth moment. I bought other flavors, but this arrived first. I have to admit that they melt away fast, but as someone with a gluten-free, sugar-free lifestyle, these are a really nice treat!

I actually bought the regular cappuccino meringues first. They were excellent flavor, nice size & crunchy, delish! but I really needed the sugar free ones since I am a type 2 diabetic.. So I ended up buying the sugar free cappuccino ones too. I did expect some change in flavor due to no sugar but these didn’t taste good to me. They were nice & big & crunchy but the cappuccino flavor just wasn’t there. But the biggest problem for me was that there is 12 grams of sugar alcohol. I usually can consume some sugar alcohol but evidently not 12 grams. I had stomach issues for 2 days. I gave the 2 containers I had bought to my neighbor in hopes she can enjoy them.

If you are avoiding sugar these are pretty good at getting your sweet fill in. The cappuccino is my favorite, better than strawberry which has a strange aftertaste. But watch your intake. I ignored reviewers and ate an entire package watching a tv show. I was okay at first. In fact, I went to sleep and seemed to be fine. But the next morning my stomach stuck out like I was six months pregnant. It was awful. I was lucky I had the day off. The gas pains lasted a good five hours. I had to take some pills for it. Some people might wonder why i would ever eat them again, but as a prediabeteic I have to occasionally eat something sweet or I will get depressed. For me, six cookies is my limit.

Wish it didn’t look like they were pulverized. Kinda hard to eat meringue powder. The box they came in was in good shape. Either they were broken before leaving the facility or there should be some padding in the box to keep them from getting jostled too much.

I know they are too expensive but I love them. Lemon and coffee flavor are my favorites. They give me something to look forward to as I lose weight. But they are crazy expensive and I am going to look into baking my own stevia sweetened merangues!
