Can you use a regular cord or will it not work?

I"m guessing that your power station isn't charging? If that's the case, the 1st and easiest thing to check is remove the battery, plug the unit in (as if you were charging the battery) and, with a volt meter, check for 12VDC at the battery leads. If you are getting 12vdc, the battery is likely bad. If you aren't getting 12vdc, the charging unit has gone bad. I don't know much about that particular unit but if you UNPLUG THE POWER CORD, you can see if this unit has a fuse somewhere (if you're lucky - it could just be a reset button or switch somewhere on the back of the unit or inside).
