10/10 no notes. This is THE heated round brush. My hair held all day in the Virginia humidity. I like to consider myself a heated round brush expert. I’ve owned almost every popular brand and they’ve all worked well at the beginning only to quickly let me down. I had a ghd straightener for years and loved the quality so I finally bit the bullet and purchased this round brush. No regrets! I’m beyond impressed with the ease of use, and the longevity of the curls, even in humid weather. Save yourself the time and buy this one first!

I have naturally curly hair, 3A, so this hot brush easily gripped my hair and allowed me to get at the root for smoothing. Looks like a salon blowout. I tried it on my friend with stick straight hair, and it was difficult to use because there was less natural grip.

I hardly ever leave a review but, I just love this ghd Rise brush. I recently purchased a different kind. I was trying to be prudent and save a little money. The other one was about 150$ less. I took a second look at this and tried it out this morning. Here is why I love it. First of all the bristles are not the typical kind. They are soft and didn't hurt my head at all. The nylon bristles are also kind to my fingers. Second, the temperature control is so easy. There is only one temperature setting so, no guessing. I didn't burn my fingers or ears like I did using the other one. Third and most important, I really do have more volume and bounce! I had straight thin hair growing up and couldn't keep a curl. As a much older adult I have some wave to my hair but more frizz. I live where it is very hot and humid in the summer. My hair has a tendency to flatten and frizz the minute I step out the door losing any nice curl or smoothness to it. Not today! Now to be honest I did add a little smoothing oil to it today and a little hairspray. Though hairspray never made a difference before. I really think it was the Rise Volumizing Hair Hot Brush that made the difference. It's too late to return the other 50$ brush so I lost out there. I wish I ordered this one in the first place. Now in a couple of days the ghd Duet Blowdryer Hair Dryer Brush will be delivered to my front door and yes, it is expensive but I am hoping I will love it as much as the Rise Brush.

Give this product a chance! This product is not meant to dry the hair or fully curl it. It is a meant for a different effect/style and gives the results of a professional salon blowout or styling after you visit your hair dresser. See more details below: It took me a few tries to figure this product out, give it a shot and I promise it is amazing! I have longer, wavy-thick hair and it worked for me. On my first attempt I had to go over the same sections a few times until I got the hang of it. Once I did it was a breeze, soooo much faster than curling my hair. Definitely will use this when I need a quick touch up or don't have the time to curl all my hair. My friends even asked if I had just went to the salon or got my hair cut! It provides the look as if you just went to the salon and the stylist gave you a blowout (SEE PICTURES below). It provides GREAT volume, bounce and shine. Really felt like it revived my hair! In times of COVID, I was so happy to receive the complaints that it looked like I just came from the salon! can't wait to use this more often! Would be great for people with lots of layers! Even short -fine/thin hair. I have wavy-thick long hair and it worked great!! TIPS: +Watch the product videos & tutorials- this was extremely helpful to use the product properly +Brush hair fully before using so your hair doesn't get tangled (if you have longer hair like me) +Wrap hair VERY loosely, again it works different than a normal curling iron and will tightening as you pull your hair downward +Press and hold the power to turn on/off, a noise will sound to alert you if it is on/off

Amazing! These curl brushes never hold in my hair. I curled my hair and swooped my curtain bangs In five minutes. And it stayed!

When using this product you must move your hands similarly to when using a roll brush, flat iron or curling wand. I have 3b-3c curls cut into a bob w/fringe as I am growing out a pixie cut from years ago. I am a professional hairstylist so I am very comfortable with different hair tools so for me I did not have an issue using it. I will say it is amazing for quick styling. I used it on clean hair dry hair with minimal product. It's great if u prep your hair the night before then just wake up use this styler and go. It gives the look of a professional blowout. I separate my hair as I would a blow out and I received alot of compliments. What I like most is the ease of use and minimal heat damage. I can use this and in a few days wash my hair and have beautiful curls again. If you are a busy woman who wants to minimize morning routine this hot brush is perfect. Takes me about 15-20 min.

Me encanta, es la única herramienta que uso actualmente. No es tan fácil de usar al inicio, hay que tomarle el truco. Pero una vez que lo haces es rapidísimo de peinarte y deja el cabello con un aspecto "saludable", con cuerpo y brillo. Tengo aproximadamente 1 mes usándolo al rededor de 4 veces a la semana (con protector en aerosol) y no he notado daño en mi cabello.

Love this tool, it’s not fancy, just a hot curling brush, that does the job.
