No artificial sweeteners, good flavor
I agree with another person that said the flavors are all good, but not great. I’m not usually an energy drink person because they made me shaky and sometimes upset my stomach. These don’t seem to have those negative effects. I really like that they have no artificial sweeteners, it’s difficult to find that in an energy drink. The effectiveness is just caffeine, I don’t think the other stuff is of much value. Coffee in the morning to drop the kids at the pool, Jocko around noon doesn’t necessitate a repeat visit. Seems a little pricey, but I’m guessing the cost to manufacture might be higher given the difference in ingredients from most other drinks, economy of scale and whatnot. Overall I’d recommend if you want an energy drink that will get the job done without artificial sweeteners.

New Recipe - it's good! But...
New recipe as of 2026 - no longer contains Alpha GCP or Bacopa. Replaced instead with Fermented Salidroside and L-ergothioniene. The taste is still great - though I do miss the cherry vanilla flavor. The energy boost is still clean with no jitters! Unlike before however, I do notice a crash in energy after 4-6 hours with the new recipe. Your milage may vary.

Energy drink
I used to get these at the grocery store but couldn’t find them anymore. They’re my favorite energy drinks. Low calorie and high b12. I sip on it to get me through my evening shifts at work. This flavor is good. Black cherry tops it though

Great Alternative to Soft Drinks!
Positives: Healthy, No Sugary Crash, Energizing Negatives: Acquired Taste, Expensive Price Tag, Small Portion I was a big fan of the products made by Jocko, so I knewa little bit about these energy drinks since I was a regular customer of their protein powder. Since I wanted a healthy alternative to soft drinks & energy drinks, I decided to invest in these Jocko Go series since I wanted a taste of these drinks for myself. After getting the 12-pack, I knew the ingredients in these energy drinks were all healthy ingredients since I didn't feel my body respond in any negative way such as acne breakouts, jitteriness, or headaches since I have a big negative response to high doses of sugar taken in a short period of time, and there was no sugary crash after drinking the energy drink since my energy level stayed constant all the way throughout the day even right before I fell alsleep, which was a great sign since I wanted this energy drink to help me maintain my constant pace, which this drink accompolished all that and more! When it came to all the negative aspects, I'm not a really huge fan of carbonated water, so the taste of the Jocko Go energy drink became acceptable to my taste buds after I drank 8+ cans, and having them chilled in the fridge helped me the best since it just tasted like bitter-sweet soda to me in the very beginning. Not only that, the price tag on these things is pretty expensive when you compare this to a bottle of Arizona since you have to pay about $30+ for 12 drinks, which meant that I was drinking each can very sparingly (I typically drink one can per week, and I try to drink one can every Sunday mid-afternoon since that is the time where I feel most sleepy and tired, so giving myself a pat on the back for a week well-spent became my regular routine). And last but not least, the portion that these drinks contain is really small and tiny if you again compare it to a $2~$3 energy drink that you can buy from any general store, since I can only get 2~3 mid-size cups from 1 bottle, which can be a small portion for adults who want to get more value out of their money. To summarize the key details, these energy drinks are for people who are willing to pay the top dollar for energy drinks containing healthy ingredients and clean fuel, and personally, it really helped me get off on soft drinks since it became my go-to alternative for sodas, which made it a worthwhile investment for me. I'll be continuing to try out different flavors of the Jocko Go energy drinks, and hopefully, I'll be able to find out my favorite flavor since the iced lemonade flavor was a little bit bland to my taste.

BEWARE - NOT AS ADVERTISED (UPDATED 5/21/2026)
The orange taste is meh...and that's about where the positives end. Jocko does it again, the wrong way. I started buying their protein powder because it was the first one that did not use the artificial sweeteners sucralose and asculfame potassium that 95% of the others use, nor did it use Stevia which has a harsh aftertaste and also messes up your gut's biome. The used allulose and monk fruit. And most of their flavors tasted good! It was so easy to mix too...then they changed their formula. Now it's hard to mix even with a shaker bottle and is gritty and lumpy. Maybe a blender would change that but that's more cleanup. I found a new brand that uses monk fruit and is very easy to mix Jocko did it again with this energy drink. It's not at all as advertised here. They changed it much more drastically than they did with the protein powder change. The label on this site shows this drink contains: Vitamin B6: .5 mg Vitamin B12: 100 mg Choline bitarate: 100mg Acetyl L-Carnitine: 500 mg L-Theanine: 95 mg Bacopa Monnieri: 50 mg Alpha GPC: 100 mg Theobromine: 100 mg Magnesium citrate: 50 mg Potassium citrate: 50 mg Sodium: 100 mg Caffeine: 95 mg That's a pretty great list of natural ingredients with the Choline, Carnitine, Alpha GPC, Bacopa, Theanine, Theobromine, and natural caffeine (but not too much like other energy drinks). Compare that to what you actually get when the product arrives: Vitamin B6: .5 mg Vitamin B12: 100 mg Caffeine: 95 mg Theanine: 50 mg Really? Honestly, I bought these energy drinks because of the impressive ingredients list, and it was the only energy drink that scored positively on the Yuka app at 63. They took all the good stuff out! Speaking of the Yuka app, I learned this contains a risky additive: steviol glycosides. Steviol disturbs gut microbiota, impairs sugar regulation, and is involved with overweight conditions. For what you actually get with this, you're better off drinking black tea or a cup of Americano and popping a multi-vitamin. It's cheaper. I will not be buying anything else made by Jocko again. It's just not a reliable brand. EDIT 5/12/2026 JOCKO offered a refund and made the following response to my review: May 12, 2026 6:10 AM "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding your order and would like to offer you a full refund for your purchase. If you would like a full refund: please reply 'Full refund'. We hope that you give us another chance. Thank you very much. Best regards, Jocko Fuel" I did not ask for the refund but offered a reply: May 12, 2026 9:15 AM MY REPLY: "As it stands currently, you are LYING about your product on Amazon. Once trust is broken, it's very hard to earn it back. If you ever want another chance, you should start by either going back to the original formula, or changing your ad on Amazon to show the actual ingredients list. Otherwise, it is false and deceptive advertising and the potential customer should know about it." They were still showing the previous ingredients list at the time of this writing EDIT 5/14/2026: JOCKO WROTE: "Thank you for getting back to us! We're truly sorry for the confusion caused here. As the new formula shipped prior to the updated listing, we're happy to request a refund for the cost of the Orange Go RTD 12-pack. Once approved, you should have the funds available in your account within 3-5 business days." "Please be assured that you may view the full ingredient list for any Jocko Fuel item under the facts panel on the back of every product. Our Go 2.0 isn’t about adding more, it’s about doing it better. We simplified the formula, tightened the focus, and improved the experience, all while keeping the same controlled caffeine dose." "To take this product to the next level, we have included additional ingredients that allow noticeable results within just 20-30 minutes! Please be assured that we made sure to strictly use ingredients that also stay true to our clean ingredients only as this is always a priority here at Jocko Fuel. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask!" The problem with the above statement is that the ingredients list on the website didn't match what was on the back of the can. They weren't showing "GO 2.0" on their listing, they were showing GO 1.0, and no statement of changing formulas. They can argue their current ingredients are "better" but I disagree. They removed the ingredients I wanted, that made this drink unique and better than the others. I wasn't buying it for caffeine only. I am not changing my review because they should be called out on this. I found another review that called them out on the ingredients list being different from the listing, but they didn't make the change to the Amazon listing. I'm also not accepting their refund offer. It wasn't as advertised, but I used the product by drinking some of them. Therefore, I'm obligated to pay for it. I'm just glad responding to Jocko led to their changing the listing on Amazon so others will know exactly what they are buying and not be deceived. EDIT 5/21/2026: Even though I rejected their refund offer, they still sent it anyway. So, I decided to try the Black Cherry Cola flavor to give them their money back, indirectly. I will update the flavor rating after it gets here but it still doesn't affect my original review.

Ingredients changed, now the flavor isn’t the same
Good drink with good ingredients. Slightly disappointed tho. The ingredients changed when the can design changed, so now the flavor is different and not as good…

One of the best flavors
Love the nitro pop. Love the low calorie. Love the no crash and focus provided. Don’t have any weird feelings or weird after taste. Definitely one of my favorite flavors
