Greenwich Bay Trading Co. Dusting Powder, 4 Ounce, Rosewater & Jasmine

This is a fresh rose scent with a crisp note to it. It smells very much like a freshly cut rose. For a body powder it is quite well scented but not overpowering or intrusive and it will last all day. The powder is very finely milled and smooth. The packaging is pretty and works, but it doesn’t contain the scent as well as a metal can or a glass jar would; once opened it has to be re-packaged. The puff doesn’t have a ribbon or finger loop, it is stiff and not really ideal for its purpose. Not a big issue and a nice little detail, but I would happily trade it for better packaging.

It smells like a Rose Garden, silky feel it's a decent size. 4 oz should last a while due to you just pat it on. Very well packed! It was in a plastic bag and also sealed in plastic. You can smell it before it's open. My bathroom smells like Roses 🌹 Puff is nice, pretty box. I poked small holes in the paper, turn closed box upside down for powder.

This powder is a must have!! It's better than any of the other after shower powders out there. Since the media went crazy against talc, which is absolutely ridiculous, most of the powders for babies and adults include chalk- like ingredients. This company offers chalk free powders in different fragrances. They are so effective that they can even take the place of deodorant. A little of this powder on the neck and chest will creates a beautiful silky look to your skin and provides a very light fragrance. The powder itself smells very strong in thy box, but once you wear it, the fragrance is very light. I gave this a four star because I'd like to see the powder even silkier than it is..... like the powders that are very very expensive and still contain talc. I'm just saying... to really prove that talc causes cancer in women, requires that people are observed for a lifetime and all other contributing factors eliminated. Just saying. Would love to see this powder come in more fragrances too. It's a great buy and a great product.

I was on the fence because some of the reviews did describe this powder as too sweet. To me, it does remind me of the Rosie Avon powder my grandmother used when I was a child. If you like florals, and you don’t mind a slightly heavier scent it’s perfect. It is a stronger scent than some other floral powders I’ve used but still beautifully feminine with a hint of powdery soap. If the flowery fragrance is a little too overwhelming, I believe mixing a vanilla dusting powder with this one would work to lighten the scent. I just received this today and I already ordered a second box. Bare in mind, you only get 4 ounces which is decent for the price. This is definitely going to be my signature for spring/summer. Hopefully, the bee’s won’t make me run for my life😆.

I absolutely love this scent and order it over and over. It’s my daily go to! It compliments any deodorant & fragrance you wear. I love it and feel so pretty and fresh and dry all day long❣️

I know a lot of people are put off by the strong smell coming from the package, and believe me, it's strong. However, my experience with dusting powder is that once it's on you skin the scent is pleasant and not overpowering. And the same is true for this dusting powder. But, that scent doesn't last even an hour. Also, the texture of the powder isn't as silky as I'm used to. Just a bit coarser to the touch. Of course, it's about half the price of what I'm used to, but I'd rather pay more for that silky texture and a scent that lingers for half the day. Now for the package. It's adorable, but not at all practical. First off, there's a hollow circle where I think you're intended to poke holes. The problem is that the circle is on the bottom of the package. Not a mistake. I bought 3 scents of this brand and they were all the same way. To sum up, the scent does not linger for long on the skin, the texture of the powder is not silky, and the packaging makes the product difficult to use. I do not recommend this product and will not buy this brand again.
