These are a nice economic alternative to the Thomas the train brand wooden sets that sell for nearly twice the price.These cars are compatible with the Thomas tracks and with the Wooden tracks sold on Amazon by Right Track Toys.No, they don't have the specific Thomas characters, but my kids love them and the variety they provide in addition to the one or two Thomas cars that we have.The quality is good. After some rough play by my two year old, one of the wings on the airplane piece fell of (can be easily glued back into place). But this was due to rougher use than is probably intended for this type of item.

Overall the set works well for my son, and goes well with his Step2 deluxe train table and Fisher Price Thomas and friends battery operated train. Box does not indicate if paint is BPA safe so parents take note on that. If you child likes to put toys in their mouths then this may not be the train set for you.Would have given a 4/5 star rating, but since it’s made in China and manufacturer does not address the safety of the paint, then I’ve downgraded my rating to a 3.

This was a cute set of trains and other vehicles that worked on the standard wooden track. My grandchild loved this set.

My son loves this set. He is a Thomas fan so I was worried he would not like these because they don't have character faces like the Thomas train sets. However, he doesn't care and actually enjoys this set more. Fits perfectly with the wooden track sets we have. I would rather spend $20 on a set like this instead of $12.99 for ONE Thomas train. Great value.

The painting and finishing is very crude. I was very excited about this and was looking forward to the variety of vehicles and the details on each of them. I had just opened the box and I could already tell that the quality was far from what I had expected. I would say they are usable. I can’t tell how sturdy since I plan to return mine right away, but I would rather pay a little more for better looking toys on our wooden train set.

Now, these are really awesome. Bought these for my two-year-old nephew and he really enjoyed the magnetic parts of them, which I didn't even know about when I bought them. I thought there would only be trains too but there are cars and a plane included as well. They are made out of strong wood and I think they might be hand painted, but I'm not sure. I love this train set.

Great wooden vehicle set. The wood quality is good. The magnets on the trains are strong. The color is bright, and well-drawn. They go well with Step2 deluxe canyon road table. The trains connect to Thomas battery operated train. I only received a small defect on the airplane, but it was not a big deal. Definitely recommended.
