I was reluctant to purchase because I didn't think fiberglass would be strong enough, but it is. I'm not a nail technician and even I gave myself a nice manicure.

Read the item description and what it comes with closely. No there are no instructions included. Even if you’re a professional using these you still need to know what to use in order to get the best results of this item. There’s no base coat included or a light to cure it. Or anything to “wipe off” or “clean the nail” with. It would be helpful to know if I should clean off the nail with nail polish remover, acetone or dehydration spray. It does take forever and a day to dry even with a UV light. Again read what it comes with. C it only comes with 10 fiber extensions so yeah.. not the best kit. It was a struggle to get things to stay on and the clips did not help. Also I had tiny fiber glass pieces stuck to my hands. Ever had a small hair or splinter on your skin or ever touched a cactus? That’s what it feels like to have the fiber glass in your skin. And this was for almost 2 days. I was careful when cutting the fiber. Lastly the strips of fiber glass just don’t stick or stay on. I tried to keep them on my fingers with the gel; which by the way is a small small bottle, and it would not stay on in order for me to cure it. It’s almost impossible to get these strips to stay on.

First, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS included - they want you watch the video. Really! You have to keep rewinding the video - there isn't a way to watch it in slow motion and unless you're a speed reader with a photographic memory, it just doesn't work. Second, the fiber is VERY difficult to cut. It is much harder than in the video. I used brand new, high-end, scissors and still couldn't get the fiber cut straight. Third, the gel doesn't dry (cure as they put it) in any reasonable time. The video says it will take a few seconds, but after several minutes, the stuff is still wet. Third, even though the gel is gooey, it does NOT hold the fiber in place at all. Even lightly attempting to apply gel on top of the fiber causes it to dislodge. At that point (I tried those steps on 3 fingers) I gave up.What a waste of time and money. Save yours and buy something else.
