Intuitive and easy to put together, didn’t need to look at instructions.Easy to set up for 5” center handles. No problem with locking screws, except for the depth adjustment arm being plastic, would be nice to have metal strip for screw contact. Nice to have both inch and metric scales.Metal drill guides match supplies oversized drill bit, most pulls have smaller screws. Should not have any issue with it being off by 1/8” inch.I set up jig for 5” centers, placed the pull on the jig & inserted screws to see if jig was close and then make any fine adjustments.Also clamping jig in positioned on the piece is a good idea and reduces “walking” - leaves both hands free.I Would agree it’s not built to last, but I don’t think I will need to invest in another one in the near future. If you’re doing a couple of dozen pulls, it’s a good inexpensive jig. I’ve done about 100 pairs without issue. Would recommend it

I used this handy tool to guide me in installing all of my kitchen cabinet and drawer hardware (88 in total) and I will use it again when I have time to tackle the hardware installation on my vanity cabinets in my 3 bathrooms. This product lines up with the edges of the doors and drawers effectively and is easy to adjust to whatever size you need to make the holes for the hardware even and consistent throughout the room. I had to adjust it several times to center the handles on various sized drawers and cabinets but it was easy to do once I understood how to adjust what pieces to get the result I wanted. I would not have been able to install the hardware myself without this tool! NO WAY! It was the key to my success and I will use it on all of my future projects for sure! I definitely recommend this product!! It's durable and adjustable and easy to assemble and disassemble and conveniently comes with its own storage pouch. Great tool to have and at a great price!

I received my cabinet pull template within the estimated time and began using it that afternoon to install pulls on my daughter’s kitchen cabinets. I’m very pleased with the tool, it makes drilling the needed holes very quick and easy. My only minor complaint is putting on the longitudinal sliding backup plate was very difficult and resulted in peeling a portion of the plastic tape with the graduations printed on it. I caught this early on and was able to reattach the tape. I then installed from the opposite end with little additional trouble. It was just a very tight fit, which it good, but was a bit problematic.

The jig is amazingly handy. It served its purpose well. Worth the price.

Good for home use. You get a nice cloth case and drill bit which is the right size. Excellent for knocking out several cabinet drawers or doors at once with consistent results. Saves time. Not strong or accurate enough for contractor daily use. We used it to install 3inch cabinet drawer handles on nine drawers in our kitchen. We'll also use it to install 18 cabinet door handles later. For that purpose it works fine. Took about two hours to install drawer handles and result is consistent look across all drawers. Not all drawers were same size so we had to change jig settings a few times. This was our first drawer handle DIY project so we were very careful.The jig is easy to assemble and use with help of a couple YouTube Videos we watched. It's critical to take accurate measurements beforehand and check them at least twice. Remember the phrase "measure twice, drill once"!I must emphasize this is a value priced jig. You get what you pay for. It's fairly cheaply made. For example, two of the drill guide sliders would not stay tight by hand tightening. We needed to use a pair of plyers to tighten and loosen them. Even then they needed to be checked after drilling holes for every drawer. In fact, it's a great idea to check the settings on the jig between every drawer or door.For our home DIY projects this is a good tool which makes installing cabinet drawer and door handles fairly easy.

Never started my product when I ordered this and when I finally got around to it, one of the screws holding one of the sliding pieces doesn’t hold it in place so it is virtually useless and now have to order something else since I’m past the return window.

We decided to redo the kitchen which hadn't been upgraded since the house was built in 1996. We save a ton of cash and got top grade stuff by doing the work ourselves. New floors, new cabinets and new granite countertops! The finishing touch was the door handles and draw pulls. With so many holes to measure and drill I went looking for help. If you have a to do more than a couple of cabinets door / drawers, I recommend one of these. Easy to use, eliminates wrong drilled holes
