Out the box it came disassembled but was easy to put together. Besides the spikes, screws and nuts everything else was a hard plastic and looked solid until you put your poles on it. It felt very flimsy especially when you got the bite. It felt like I was going to lose my pole. Fortunately I did not so I stopped using it. What I realized was that my drag was too much! When I put about 1lb drag (set it accordingly to what your heart desires) on my reels, THIS THING IS THE BEST ROD HOLDER that I have used. 1) low to the ground and you can position it any way you want. 2) keeps poles held in place and easy access when you get the big bite! I personally landed a 7.4lb carp on this thing with no problems. 3) its very light, easy to install and easy stowaway when done with your day. 4) get alot of, "where did you get that? Its sweet!" They are right!! The only gripe I have is that I wished it had an ALL ALUMINUM frame model. Other than that..this thing is a beast when you SET YOUR DRAG appropriately. Hope this helps!

A little too large for the tackle box so that might be a consideration. Goes into the ground easily and the spikes are long enough to hold up to a pretty large freshwater fish.

Great for the price and very functional for my spinning reels. Only problem was one of the stakes pulled out of the housing when trying to remove it from the ground. I hope this doesn't continue to be a problem.

These are just ok. They work ok as rod holders for smaller poles but for larger catfish poles they aren’t the best. The poles kept getting caught up and my line got caught and snapped once too. I ended up just leaning the pole on them and not using the little loops that hold the poles in place.

Compact, easy to use ,securely holds your rods, used for bottom fishing for trout.

I don’t recommend purchasing this product. It’s not very sturdy at all. It catches on your line when grabbing your rod to catch a fish. Worst of all, the screws for holding it together are both stripped. The first screw stripped within a week. The second stripped last week. For reference I purchased this on April 24th meaning I got just a little over a month if use out this product.

I purchased this so my two boys could have a place to set down their rods that wasn't the ground. It works great! I actually had purchased another brand before this one and had to return it because the circumference of one of the fishing pole handles is larger than average and wouldn't fit in that holder. This one is fully adjustable and would accommodate any size or shape of handle. We have had pretty light use with it so I cannot speak to how it would hold up to a large fish pulling on the rod, but for our backyard pond fishing, it works great!

Big wing nuts are easy to adjust folds up nicely I just wish the arms were abit longer or wider so my poles don’t touch at the butt but it’s good other than that

Its great holder, good quality. Im using it on wooden deck, just 2 small holes needs to be drilled)

It's ok for smaller spinner rods but nothing to heavy or big. Doesn't like baitcasters . Kept getting pulled out with thr drag set on very low.
