Magnetic Stirrer with 7PCS stir bar Set and stir bar Retriever

Like the price and quality.

Never can tell by reviews and since this is the only one I got I can't compare to others but here is what I know POWER SUPPLY - it was kind of hard getting in the first time and I worried since that seemed to be an issue for some people but once I got it in it is fine, no issues. SPEED - yes, you need to turn it to almost half way to get the capsule spinning but once spinning you can turn it down to about a quarter for a slow spin. I played with the speed a lot and there is definitely a sweet spot, too fast and the capsule will fly off but that is because the air sucked down by the vortex causes too much turbulence. The more liquid you have and the thicker it is you can spin it pretty fast but most things having it set to 1/2 is plenty fast. THE SPINNER CAPSULES - I got the set of 7, you can get by with the one size for most things, the big one is for slower spinning I think and the smallest one is super tiny, smaller than a TicTak and I don't even know why there is a plastic tweezer but the retrieval rod works nicely. The tiny capsule works great for a very small beaker and that one you can go full speed. STRENGTH - while I have not done anything super viscous, I have tried out several different liquids using multiple amounts of the liquid and trying out several sized beakers and basically I found a size capsule in the set that worked for what ever I tried mixing and the fact that you need to turn it up half way to get it going is NOT an issue because you just need to do that to get the thing going and then you can turn it down to a slower speed. I got this for home kitchen stuff, nothing really scientific, mostly for things that require a lot of stirring to dissolve different things. To really test it I put two cups of sugar in a gallon of cold water and while I had to stir the water some just to get the capsule moving, once it was going it ran fine and if you know anything about sugar, in cold water is dissolves very slowly and not having to pay attention to it, it seemed to be dissolved in no time. It's definitely worth it to get the multi capsule set and you just have to play around with it to get a feel for how it works - IT WORKS WELL for what it does. I let it run a full day at about 1/3 speed and had no issues, didn't warm up or quite working, CONTAINERS - a flat bottom with thin glass is best but I have tried it our with gallon jars that do NOT have a flat bottom, and mason jars and some glasses that are kind of thick on the bottom and this work with everything after I found the sweet spot. Any reviews saying that there is an issue with speed or magnet strength or problems with how fast it goes are in my opinion purely user error, this device works great and for 30 bucks it far exceeded my expectations.

Works fine, but I like my Anpooz much better than my Intllab stirrer. Even though they share the same blue base and stainless steel top plate, looking like they came out of the same factory, the Anpooz is much quieter has more control with the dial and is much easier to get the stir bar going than this Intllab brand magnetic stirrer. UPDATE: While the Anpooz is still my favorite, As my project has progressed and my liquid is thickening, the jar that holds my smallest sized stir bar, the size of a tic tac, can no longer be effectively stirred by the Anpooz, while the Intllab is able to, suggesting that the Intllab stirrer is stronger. If you need a stronger stirrer and don't care as much about how quiet it runs or its finesse through the range of speeds particularly through the low range then the Intllab might be a consideration. I still prefer the quieter more adjustable Anpooz that would work just fine if I were to use an appropriate sized stir bar for the task. I'm currently using all of my stir bars right now, so it was a matter of use what you have, but it revealed the pros and cons between the two look alike brands. I'm adding a star. If strength is most important get this one.

This is a good set for the price. It is $29 includes several stir bars and a removal wand. Came packaged nicely. I tried it with different jars and different thicknesses of fluid. Went well with all types. I even used it on Ball canning jars that aren't totally flat and are thicker on the bottom and it went well. But the thicker the liquid, and thicker the jar, the less likely you are to get it to go slow. If that is not a problem, then this is an excellent choice as it has LOTs of power! I purchased another one first thinkingnit was defective, but second one is identical so it's just the way it is. Remember you have to turn it up half-way in order to initiate stirring action, which is NOT a big deal really. Just turn it half way then tweak it to where you need it to be. Just not too slow or it will stop. Pros: All inclusive set w/ stir bars Affordable and fair price Good quality Very fast Powerful Cons: Can't get a nice, slow stir from it. Slowest it would go is medium speed. Only matters with delicate materials. If power is more important to you, go for it! It has lots of power and seems well made. The surface area is stainless steel and waterproof. Has a button that lights up when unit is on. It is rechargeable battery operated or DC. Which is nice that it has both. La parrilla es pequeña, pero aún así funciona muy bien. Tiene muy buena velocidad y el acabado está muy bonito. Además trae un juego de agitadores magnéticos y un saca agitadores. Lo recomiendo.

I have been using this (about once a month) and it was worked for about 4 yrs with out any issues.

I bought more a year ago and using it once a while and it works fine.

I like this stirrer it works well and looks smart. I especially thought it was worth getting the magnetic stir bars with it as they have been useful and it’s much more expensive to get a set of them separately!
