I believe in rotating our dog's food every few months for variety sake and balanced nutrition. It seems to keep them happy and excited about eating. I currently alternate between Wellness Core and Merrick Backcountry Raw. Both brands have an excellent reputation, so I feel good about the quality I am providing, and our dogs like both, but there appears to be a little more excitement when the Merrick bag opens. Maybe it is the raw nuggets, not sure, but they love it, so that is the main thing. I rated this 5 stars because, overall, it is an outstanding product and we have been very pleased. That doesn't mean there aren't a few things to be aware of before purchasing. First off, the raw nuggets are not dispersed well in the bag. You will find them grouped in areas, so it is best to stir the food up a little as you are scooping it out. It's easy and seems to ensure you get a few raw nuggets in most if not all feedings. Secondly, the food is expensive, and the largest bag is only 20lbs versus 24lbs to 30lbs of other brands. I am good with paying for quality, but if I had a wish, it would be nice to have a larger bag with better per-ounce savings. All in all, this is a great food that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Finally a healthy food my dog loves.

My senior dog weighs about 20 pounds, Zuke's Hip and Joint Support Dog Treats have made her life so much more comfortable. Like most dogs, she had hip pain but also has arthritis in her back foot. Thanks to Zuke's she gets up easily, runs and has no problems with steps. They are a soft, larger square and they must taste good, she loves them. I give her one when I leave for work in the morning and one when she goes to bed which provides her comfort 24/7. I like that they have additional vitamins in them too.

My dogs love these chews. They are soft & add add'l benefits to their ageing bodies. We have been buying these for over a decade.

my dogs love it but it is a little pricey they pick out tge turkey first then eat the kibble no health problems from it they also like the chicken and sweet potato from merrick

I don't use these for training purposes. But if I did, I would use the mini version of these. These are about an inch square and are meant for Joint Health for Senior Dogs.

My Cairn is almost 13 and I believe this really helps his legs. He is hopping and playing again.
