Using to keep electrical system running while stored. Has worked great for the better part of a year while trailer is in storage.

Perfect for storage
Perfect for when placing our 5th wheel in storage. I had an extra 30 amp cable but had to constantly pull out cable then connect 50-30 amp converter and finally connect to spare cable that stays in storage unit. With this I connect to spare cable and can connect straight to trailer and leave travel cable In trailer. Connects and disconnects just like normal and has a visible indicator letting you know when power is on and coming through cable. Highly recommend!

LED is dead on arrival
This solved our problem. Our camper can handle 50 amps, but we only use 30. And the 30A cable is so much lighter (than the 50A) This connector makes our set up and take down much easier. The cheap, crummy, CCP made LED lights burn out eventually but this light met my low expectation out of the box. We will not return it because our expectation is the next LED will also be pure junk. But, the Adapter does work and It will light up our life even though the LED will not.

With it, I can now hook up the RV without having to drag out the heavy duty 50amp cord when I don't need the extra power draw. Our rv is wired as a 50amp service only because they now are pre-wired for a second AC unit, which we will never have. This adapter allows us to only ever need to a much lighter 30 amp cord.

As advertised, hangs vertically in the correct direction. It allows me to put away my heavy 50 amp cord and go with the 30 amp cord. Very satisfied!
