As a semi-new sewing enthusiast, I can say that this product seemed to be a very good idea. I struggle with finding the exact item that I want to use, but I have used several of the items in this. So, there is a definite need for most of the items. I have only been sewing every now and again for the past couple of years, so there are a few things that I have yet to need... but I know that as I learn more about sewing that this item will be even more valuable to me. I think it's a great idea for a gift for people that sew. Although my grandma may think she doesn't need it (she thinks she has all the things she needs from 50 years ago) this is something she has started to accept and like. So, overall it seems to be a pretty good product. So far, I haven't had any problems with the quality. If I have any issues or if anything changes, I'll come back and update... but for now it seems great!

This is inexpensive and mostly plastic, so I don't use it for most of my sewing. HOWEVER, it is great to pop into a suitcase when traveling. I have one in my sewing basket. I bought one for each of my great nieces who are just learning to sew. My two college student grandsons have one. They have found all kinds of uses beyond mending clothing for the tools (all men should be able to repair their clothes).

After I ordered this product, and before it arrived, I read a lot of negative reviews on this product. After getting mine, I checked it out and found that a lot of the negative reviews were mostly because of user error (tools are too small, tools don't go back in place, etc.). When, in fact, each tool has its own little hole to go into and everything fits back nicely. Also, thanks to one positive reviewer sharing this tidbit) the case for the small tools doubles as a handle (there is a place to attach the tools in the top of the lid). I also read that the seam ripper wasn't sharp, but mine is. The only thing that I would say is misleading is that this tool is sold as a "12 in 1", but the 12th "tool" is actually just a larger or medium safety pin (I find this funny)... Best advice I can give you all is to read the description thoroughly and also read both positive and negative reviews, because sometimes the negative reviews are user error or someone having a bad day (or some people are truly unhappy and negative). I hope this helps someone with their decision whether to purchase or not, and also just in general!

Great concept. The problem is that the quality isn't what I am used to with Fiskars. BUT the tools are a great idea and I know I will used them. Also very compact.

Although the tweezers are junk and the seam ripper dull, I liked the compact design and having soo many sewing elements in one place (provided I can keep it away from my Grandkids) is soo convenient.

Too good to be true. I like the idea of all the tools, but really wasn't very well executed; And I know you get what you pay for, but the plastic pieces are cheaply made. I just leave in the drawer, there may be a time when I could use this, but not sure.

I do a lot of different types of crafts, which this tool comes in handy for. I always have more than one project started at the same time, projects which take a lot of time to complete. I have more than one going at a time because I sometimes just need a break from one of them! Eventually, I plan on purchasing a couple more of these all in one tools so that I can have one with each project! I keep everything I need to complete a project with that project in a satchel. That way I can simply pick up the satchel and take it with me anywhere and everywhere I go and I don't have to worry that I'm missing a tool! It's just the right size, doesn't take up too much room, but large enough for comfortable use.

Very nice for traveling! Not as high of quality as some of the larger, harder-to-pack tools this replaces, but it is great when you just don't have space to grab your entire sewing tool kit!

Helpful tool. It has so many uses within one tool. A little clumsy in fitting individual tools back into end spaces.
