Read through the Bible in a Year Devotional Paperback – April 1, 2020

I started using this little book like an appetizer for daily Bible study. It's great for when I don't have a lot of time but still want to start the day right. Lately I've begun using it in conjunction with its partner book The Read through the Bible in a Year Map (General) (Faith Maps). I use the book I'm reviewing mainly for the devo thought and then go to the companion book to read the scriptures that they recommend. I like having a place where I can make notes and write out thoughts so the companion book fits that need. Writing my thoughts have caused me to move to writing my own studies and devotionals for my ladies prayer group. Good tools to keep me reading.

The flowers and scripture with related stories is very uplifting and lovely!

These are devotional readings make you think, and the Bible readings themselves are broken up into easy readings. The portions are easily digested, giving you time for the Holy Spirit to speak to you while you read and meditate on God‘s word.

This is a lovely hand held size, easy to read. I am learning a lot and loving it. I highly recommend this book as a guide.

Cute design and small compact size. I love how the days don't have associated dates with them. I didn't realize the verses at the end of each short devotion are New King James version which I do not prefer. However, it serves my purposes well for providing a physical guide to reading the Bible in a year. I like the format of reading the Old and New Testament at the same time as it's easier to see their parallels and connections. I do wish a more masculine or gender neutral design was offered for those not interested in floral motifs.

Loved this devotional book that allowed me to read through the Bible in sections and not just straight through. The brief recap daily allowed me to better understand the verses I was reading.

I gave this to my co worker and she is now reading it one day at a time. She really likes it.

I'm starting to fall in love with this devotional. I love the fact that it provides three solid scriptures and a god inspired brief commentary for the day. Definitely feeling nourished in God's word.
