Although I have retired from the practice of forensic pathology, I now teach a forensic class to high-schoolers and though a new lease of life was needed for this text. Of course there has been some updated material over the last 40+ years, but the biggest change is that pictures are now in full color, whereas all the pictures in the old edition (many of them still are in this edition) were all black and white. This edition will now outlast me, as I won't be around to buy another one in another 40 years.
