I have used Mayumi Squaline oil for decades. As a teen and young woman I had rather oily skin, so shied away from facial creams and oils. I am so glad I found this in my early 40's and took a leap of faith to use it. The oil has no odor and a once in the morning, once before bed routine has kept my skin soft and supple. I'm in my mid 70s now and plan on using Mayumi skin oil for however many more decades I'm around!

This oil is very oily when I put it on but it is so light that it sinks right into my dry skin. If you purchase, please allow it to sink into your skin. I use it directly on my face but mix it with body lotion to save money.

I have used the Squalane Oil on my face for several years - both as an under make up moisturizer - and to moisten my skin before I go to bed at night. It is a pure, clean, odorless oil that goes on light and allows your skin to breathe. Apparently squalane is compatible with human skin as I do not get unwanted side affects as I have with other products. No oily build up, itchiness, or redness that I get with other products AND it seems to be compatible with other things that I use. I'd recommend it for patches of dry skin - like you might get on your elbows. I have also poured about half of the bottle into another small container and added an essential oil. I like the option of doing that as I know exactly what has been added. Many skin specialists will recommend that you NEVER use fragrace - but the fragrances that cause the problem are the artifical ones. If you know how an essential oil works for you - it will probably work WITH the squalane. If you try that - use a small amount (so and not to waste the Squalane - its precious) to see if you like it. I must say I am actually impressed! This product started to work from day 1. My skin is like silk and the one troublesome smile line on the left side of my face is disappearing! It so funny that a customer asked me my age on Thursday and I gave my usual line that if I told him I would then have to kill him. lol But I told him if he guessed correctly I would confirm. When he said 45 I almost hugged him! lol He then said it looked like I was getting younger every year! I actually just turned 60 this year. Mayumi Squalane Skin Oil is a winner! I have over the years tried more products than I would like to admit and never commented on any as I have not had anything good to say and you all remember what mom used to say "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything a all"! lol That is product regarding the face I have said plenty about others that did not do what they promised. Ladies believe me this product is not overly priced and just remember a little goes a long way, this product is also good for your neck and declege Excuse the bad spelling. It's good enough for this price. Doesn't dive me any allergy - I have this problem. My skin is feeling well with it. Works for me better when it's warm outside. When cold, my skin tighten soon if I don't put facial cream wright after using this oil. Before I used Ocean Actives Topical Deep Water Squalane. It was much better: at night I didn't need any cream after that at all. And it was very spready: couple drops was enough for whole face. However, it is also much more expensive. So, I think that this product for this price is not bad at all.
