This brand Sweet Almond Oil, is this of edible, food-grade quality ? i.e o.k (?) to use on wooden salad utensils, bowls, etc.

Almond oil in general is an edible oil like walnut or sesame Etc. However, not all companies make food grade almond oil. This one doesn't say food grade so I am Leary of using it in food. I use the spectrum brands oil since it is food grade.

If this is 100% pure, why are there warning labels?

Fire is pure!!! But go ahead touch it, there's no warning labels!! It's PURE!! Think people!!

Is the oil a sticky consistency?

Not sticky, Oil doesn't generally have a sticky feeling especially almond oil.
