Very nice incubator. Service is charade.
This is an excellent incubator for the price... It holds it's temperature rock steady; It has automatic turners and you can manipulate the humidity. It was easy to set up and comes up to temperature within minutes. The egg candler is pretty nice too. This is a good deal for incubators. The instructions were quite colorful as well. I am happy.Update. I have been running this incubator nonstop for two months. It is still running like a champ. When I finally shut it down, I plan on making some minor modifications to it regarding water delivery through tubing, but otherwise this thing is a great machine.Further update.... the fan on this incubator gave out. I was not upset as I used it pretty well. However the two year warranty is apparently just a sales gimmick. The guys in China are all polite but you will never see anything further... I just want a part number to order a new fan. The service is non existent in substance. But they write alot of polite E Mails.

Was GREAT Until the Last Few Days
I gave this three stars because I would give it a five for early performance, but I would give it a one for design and later performance. The average is three stars. I was incubating some mallard duck eggs. Out of my sixteen eggs, fifteen were fertile. ALL fifteen were doing great until day 23, three days before they were set to hatch. Right before I was going to remove them from the turner, I candled them. Eight were dead! This was because my incubator could not hold a steady temperature for a few days. It then adjusted, but it was too late. I ended up with a 4 egg hatch rate. I was disappointed. If this hadn't happened, I probably would have had a much higher hatch rate. I am going to try again with another batch of eggs, and I will hope that this won't happen again. The humidity control was fine. A downside about this incubator is that the viewing windows are way too small. You can hardly see anything. I would recommend this to buy if you don't really care about seeing the hatching well, and if you want to take a chance of it working correctly. It is made of quality plastic, NOT Styrofoam. The digital readings are nice, and they give you practice with learning Celsius. The alarm is annoying, but you can basically turn it off by setting to the largest ranges and settings. The turner works in a strange way, but I think it did its job.

Not happy!
I am not very happy with this product, and would not recommend it. I've used it 4 or 5 times with a very poor hatch rate. The humidity does not stay stable, and constantly goes up and down. I have tried several things to stabilize the humidity, but nothing works. I bought this incubator to up grade from the current incubator I use, but will be going back to my old incubator.

Doesn't hold humidity well.
Let me start by saying that I like the digital readouts for temp and humidity. However, the temps read in celcius, which isn't a big deal, but not something most Americans are used to.The first thing I didn't like about this incubator is that the power cord for the egg turner plugs into the top of the unit, so when raising the lid to add water you must be careful not to unplug the egg turner.Second, the lid to my unit was warped, so in order to keep the humidity level correct for more that 3 hours I had to tape the opposite diagonal corners down, not only to the unit itself, but also to the table it was sitting on. Needless to say that made adding water even more of a pain.Third, even with the unit's lid taped down at the corners, there is no seal between lid and base therefore humidity levels drop much to quickly and are still difficult to maintain.Fourth, the automatic egg turner in my unit worked only for 5 days or so. And when it was working it was very noisy.Fifth, there is no volume control for the alarms that warn you when the temp or humidity gets outside of the ranges you program. They are loud which may be needed, but I don't think it's neccessary that everyone in the house be awakened by them. Also, when coming back up to the correct range after adding water, the alarm goes off repeatedly until it's stably above the low range number - which is just about the time when everyone is dozing back off to sleep. :-(I have made arrangements to return this unit to the vendor from whom I made the purchase. I was more confident in the outcome when I was using my old styrofoam incubator and separate electric egg turner I purchased from Southern States as my starter unit several years ago. I achieved 90% hatch rate with that inexpensive, analog, forced air incubator on a regular basis. I was hoping for even better results with the Sanven model I purchased, but was sadly dissappointed.

Very good price for such a sophisticated device
Very good price for such a sophisticated device. Best hatch ever. Make sure you have good directions on how to incubate the eggs you put in this and a converter for Celsius to Fahrenheit because this is centigrade.

Super Great Incubator - Carefree & EASY!
This is the best incubator that we have had thus far, and I can't see getting any other....Everything is automated, it holds it's temperature SO accurate, the only time it beeps is if the humidity get's too low or if I leave the top open more than 5 seconds. Egg turner works great, and it even has a day counter on it, so if you fill it with 48 eggs right away, you really don't need a calendar. It's plastic and wonderful! Beats the heck out of those Styrofoam pieces of crap that we started with!! SO worth the extra few bucks!!

it's okay
cant get above a 40% hatch rate we do better with our still air ones. don't think it is worth the money

looks like very dirty
After read the all the review, I place a order, the incubator came very quick. I got a used old one, looks like very dirty, and the auto egg turner was broken, rotator motor is separate with the egg rack, has no way to put it together, the motor is not working either. I would ask return it.
