Very authentic and very simple.
Tastes great! Just like a traditional Doner. I used 500g pork mince, mixed half of this in, rolled it out flat to about 3mm and gave it 15 minutes in the oven on gas mark 6. Terrific!

Would highly recommend
Whilst I do think this is maybe slightly overpriced, the taste of it s really good! Instructions are easy to follow and easy to cook, good herby smell and texture fine when mixed into meat. I sometimes add water sometimes I haven't, feel gives me a firmer texture when you don't add water and stronger flavour- so give it a Try with and wi though! Spice mix is good and does taste great! Good home made kebab!

Pretty much like a takeaway kebab shop
As we don't eat lamb, I used really good quality mutton mince, with a high fat content, ground the mince and left the mixture overnight to marinate in the fridge, then spit roasted on a rotisserie. I did add some sumac, but the overall flavour was definitely there. Not too minty or salty, as I feared it might be. Would grill well in a block under a high heat, shaving off slices and keeping them warm under the grill, whilst the rest browns. Would also work well with beef. Grind the mince though. And go for a high fat content. Well worth trying. Packet did contain 100g.

Not just for kebabs..
Using a bit of this in everything, mixing with jerk or Peri Peri seasonings in stews, or in my sausage rolls, over a joint, anything. Delicious, Bit pricey, but worth it. Excellent stuff.

Really Tasty
Fancied my chances at home made doner and gave this a whirl. Myself, husband, 17 year old and 23 year old sons all tried it. I used lean meat and it dried out a little, it really does need a fatty meat. Super easy to use, although my husband did exclaim at how much seasoning was required, but the flavour didn't feel overpowering. I saw a review stating it was really salty. I'm quite sensitive to salt and can honestly say I didn't feel it was salty at all. The main thing we struggled with was how long to cook it for in the rotisserie that I bought especially for the occasion hahaha ... think we need to reduce cooking time slightly as that would also have contributed to it being somewhat dry. Overall rating is 5*'s from me and the boys, husband a 4, but he's just a moaning arse so ignore him! He's never happy haha!! I will defo by again and keep playing adjusting the mix ratio and meat fats until I feel like I've nailed it, but that's just because I have the time and I can, not particularly necessary.

MISTER MARINADE Fakeaway Night In Doner Kebab Seasoning Spice Mix (100g)
Thought the reviews were a bit overhyped, but thought we would give it a go due to the positive ratings it received. We used this with 1Kg 20% fat Lamb mince (5 adult family) and the whole 100g mix with a little water as directed. (Used 20% fat in case it was too dry with leaner mince). Put the thoroughly mixed product into a rectangle Terrine dish and cooked in the over on 180C until internal temp was approx. 165C. (About 45 mins). All of the fat rendered out into the dish and we were left with a fantastic crust on top, with succulent (but not fatty) meat inside. Because we added a little mix at a time then mixed it really thoroughly at room temperature by hand until it was all incorporated into the meat mix, the cooked meat cut like a solid piece of kebab meat from the Chip Shop. It looked way better than the Meatloaf appearance in the pictures by the seller, not crumbly at all. Cut it length ways into thin slivers and the taste was amazing. Plenty left over too and tastes just as good the next day. We have now bought the 600g bag as much better value and said goodbye to the Chippy! I'll try to update review with pictures next time round.

Tasty and really easy to make.
Bought this the other day on a whim. So easy, just mix according to the instructions on the packet. I used beef mince which was lovely, but make sure it is not too lean otherwise will be a little dry. Once mixed roll it up in a tight salami size sausage in tin foil, stick it in the air fryer/oven to cook, remove foil and put it back in air fryer just to crisp the outside, slice and serve with your favourite pita and fillings. Preparation takes less than 5 mins, cooking about 30 mins but very much worth the effort!
