These work as intended. No leaks. Easy to install. It doesn't have a check valve like air disconnects so I recommend putting a shut off valve before the disconnect to shut the water off at the end. It's difficult to disconnect it with the water on, and I don't know if it would be possible to reconnect it. So definitely get a shut off valve!

Does exactly what I want and without leaking...if you have hard water like I do, you just have to get use to replacing these each season

I picked up this brass connector and it has really impressed me. The brass construction feels solid and durable compared to cheaper plastic ones I’ve used in the past. It threads on smoothly and the fit is snug without any leaks. The sealability is excellent—I don’t even need to crank it down hard to get a watertight connection. As far as water flow, there’s no noticeable restriction; it keeps pressure strong all the way through. The length and thickness of the connector also give it a sturdier feel, so I don’t worry about it bending or stripping like thinner couplers. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable connector that I expect to last a long time. A little more expensive than plastic options, but well worth it for the durability and leak-free performance.

Needed these cause i had to make several different lengths to use in a pool for the kids to keep it clean. Made a cleaning filter to cut down on the amount of dirty water we were getting into the kiddy pool. These worked, no leaks at all. The quick connects made the job easier

My biggest complaint when watering the yard was hose connections, especially when putting them away. These quick connects make life so easy. a simple and inexpensive gadget to make life a little easier.

Bought these over a year ago - All still function ok - I previously used plastic ones - these metal ones seem to hold up much better.

I have ordered dozens of these over the years and have never been able to discern from the pictures whether they have an internal oring or not - some brands do, some brands don't. These do. I have found that the ones that don't tend to be harder to connect and feel loose when connected and are prone to leaking. The ones with the same general configuration seem to all connect to each other whether or not they have that oring but these seal at both the oring and the flatish rubber washer giving two sealing points and I think a bit of additional rigidity. They will eventually corrode since they are only plated aluminum but so do the brass ones so I prize the internal oring over the material they are made of. If money is no object, there is a stainless steel version available but for my money these are perfect and as long as you don't bury them, leave them out year round and wd40 them once in a while they will last many years.
