Vampire Effect

This movie will forever have a special place in my heart 😂❤️ I remember when I first saw this as a kid with my mom (she got it from her movie guy) and it’s been a classic for me ever since. The one I seen had English audio though, but I don’t mind watching the original version!

In this movie, vampires live in a church - there's an interesting twist. Among the regular bunch of vampires who feed on humans, one young vampire - a prince - falls in love with "food" - a mortal woman, who happens to be a sister of a vampire hunter. Thus he decides that he doesn't want to feed on humans any longer, and just like Angel (from Buffy) opts for packaged blood supply.The main actions revolves around power-hungry vampire, a vampire who can gain some special powers by taking the essence of several vampires of the royal descent. He already had his way with all the vampires of the royal descent, except the prince who lives in the church and here the main battle issues with some flying kung-fu.The movie is on the light side - no gripping action, nothing scarry, more on the light and humorous side, with some special effects.I did expect to way more of Jackie Chan, who barely appears in this movie.

I like this movie the first time I watched it but my issue is when I bought it on amazon I had to ask for a refund because it says Audio languages English and its NOT its subtitles no English at all as in the movie's description so if you buy its not Audio languages English keep that in mind they got it wrong and have been made aware of it and still have not changed the movie's description. so if you're looking for the English version look elsewhere it does exist just not here

Is this an Oscar winning performance? Not really. Is this a somewhat funny and amusing story with a little romance thrown in? Yes...Yes it is. This isn't Twilight, no sparkly vampires here. These vampires do not like the sun, yet they aren't all evil really. It might not be okay for younger children though as it does have death and violence in the movie as well as a scene with some drug usage. There is also a scene with a very drunk woman playing drinking games which could be a little much for younger children. Older children will probably get a kick out of this, especially the scenes with Jackie Chan, though be warned that he doesn't have a major role in the film.

Liked this as a kid and still like it today. It's silly and full of great choreography but I will suggest the English dub over the original Chinese because the jokes just hit better for a Western audience. I could see how someone might think it's dumb or cheesy even deserving of being on 'How Did This Get Made' , but the kid in me still has some Kung Fu Vampire fun!

I own this on DVDs and love it. So I thought to buy it for myself on Amazon on demand so I could watch it whenever I wanted. On the DVDs they offer subtitles and dubbed. This is a really fun and colorful movie that you want to keep your head eyes glued to what's happening and the characters. I watch it dubbed b cause of that. I would have expected that Amazon would offer the movie in both formats since the work force o dub it is already done. My mistake for believing common sense is common. How much more effort would it really have taken them? So disappointing.

Love this product had to get this product due to my first one was stolen

I got this years ago and had to get another one because it ended up missing. It's a fun vampire movie that I've recommended to all of my friends. I think it needs more love.
