I bought this camera just in time for a vacation on a cruise to the Bahamas. The camera arrived in a factory packed in perfect condition, both of the batteries were already charged enough for me to test the camera. It worked perfect and it came with a lot of extra items. The video quality is great. I used it for snorkeling, for biking and just relaxing at the beach and I have to say it’s great. The batteries lasted a long time. The waterproof case is great not even a drop off water leak inside even though the camera is waterproof I didn’t try it without the waterproof case. I recommend very good camera and good quality. You won’t regret buying it.

I bought this to film my GERMAN SHEPHERD of 100 lbs while he works at the Boss Dog of my rage room. Social media accounts are 1st person in his words. I wanted to really give POV so I bought this. I did have to order an extension arm up get it up over this big head and ears. I'm waiting on the harness and arm still. So no actual proof of how it performed yet... I can only tell you about the box opening and set up, along with trial videos. I'll update when I've got more to say! 4/12/26 1: Buttons are very hard to push. 2: It just cut off on its own. 3: You can't hear sound from camera on playback. 4: It's very clear and stabilization is good (from my pretending to be a GSD walking) 5: Set up is simple. 6: Can't figure out how to use dual screen. 7: I'm super stoked about this little thing!! UPDATE-4/19/26 1: I've returned the camera before I ever received extension arm. Got the harness. Paid for the best kind. NO GO FOR A GERMAN SHEPHERD! Kept losing it's firm mount, even with using the turning tool to ensure a tight connection) and EVERY time I would test it for a couple minutes... Then try to playback... It would say sd card is full (I paid 80 bucks on the exact same best card it said i needed) and then it would say that I needed to format it, AGAIN. Then that would fail. EVERY TIME. So I thought maybe corrupt card. Tried a 2nd one, downloaded an app that deep detects fake sd cards. It passed. It was the camera. PLUS, there's no night vision so a rage room with lights off and colorful strobes and black lights as the setting made the screen black every second I was watching live on the mobile app (which by the way, uses a very ancient, annoying and unreliable experience) and I couldn't make anything out what so ever. LASTLY, the dual lens gimmick they say to make you feel like it's gonna be fancy, is a joke. Dual means 2. You can only use 1 or the other. Not both at at the same time. I found no settings for customizing filming beyond basic quality and FPS choices. All in all... Don't waste your time. Invest a little more money on the real deal. I've had the OG cameras twice and never was disappointed with them. Until I lost them or run over them. Lol Then I was just disappointed in myself! 😎

Great camera for the price! The video quality is surprisingly good, it’s easy to set up, and the battery life has been solid. I use it outdoors and it’s been reliable every time. The accessories included are a nice bonus, and overall it offers excellent value. I’d definitely recommend the EK7000 to anyone looking for an affordable action camera.

This camera is a awesome. I don't use an action enough to justify a GoPro at their higher price. I had a Brave 4 years ago and it worked very well also but I wanted to upgrade before going on our next cruise. I landed on this camera as a middle-of-the-road camera and I am happy with my purchase. Setting it up was easy and the app is a bonus. I also like the fact is is waterproof without being in a case.

Akaso Brave 7LE As a professional architect, I have always needed site and existing condition information in developing projects. Over the years I have used SLR cameras and cell phone cameras and having to carry numerous measurement and drawing tools to get existing information. INow Ican use LiDAR scans and digital measurement tools to get accurate data, but the most important information is the subtle visuals that I can’t go back to double check on a unique item or condition. Photographs always seem to not be exactly pointed in the right direction, or didn’t get a specific issue cause of concept changes. Video provides a more detailed view of what is there, and can capture items that weren’t thought of as important during a on-site survey. In researching all the video cameras available, it was apparent that all cameras do not all have the features I wanted. The Brave 7 LE allowed me to get to a video camera that had the features I wanted at a fantastic price point,and with excellent quality output and ease of use,but even more appealing was the fantastic array of accessories available that allow me to use the camera the way I want. I have a monopole mount that allows steady movement and uniform height viewpoints, a small handheld tripod to allow setup on a surface and record client discussions and important design decisions. Saving the video files in the project directory allows effortlessly recall of forgotten content. The size and light weight makes data gathering easier and more accurate. The ability of the camera to update in connection with my iPhone app was an unexpected bonus. Some of the features that I was less than pleased with have been added and altered via online updates, great feature, and makes me feel this was a fabulous choice. My use so far has been beyond my initial goal. My daughter wants me to record important moments in my “life untold family history” . As II am not a great writer, I have decided to do a personal vlog on the camera to relate family moments that are long past. I think this is going to be a great way to address this task.

So I normally don't did reviews without giving items a legit run through. I am very impressed with this camera. Now the issues I have are not with the camera itself but the accessories. The only housing is the waterproof case and all after market housing are for the Brave 7 only. The generic mounts are mass produced plastic. I probably broke them the first month I had them. So if your expecting aluminum or a better polymer get ready to buy your own separately. BUT in all the camera is awesome, front screen is very helpful when you want to see the recording. I enjoy all the different settings and changes you can make to the quality of the images. It being waterproof did come in handy also when recording in the rain and did effects the video. Video sizes max to just over 4GB before starting a new video so just beware that when using 4k/2k you will have multiple videos to compress and sync together. I used the list camera well over a year, in the heat,rain, night, daytime. And it just performs. Awesome Camera.

Update (08/11/2022) I was under the dilemma whether to return the camera to Amazon or keep, considering I have purchased many other accessories. The camera is very good under daylight conditions(including audio) Here is the work-around I have found for the battery cover design defect - Possibly, because of water resistance, the design has rubber strip underneath battery & (display, charging) port covers - Since I use water proof casing, I am ready to forgo camera water resistance. So I sliced the rubber sheet undernath the battery cover. That has reduced the pressure on the cover. Also I used gorrilla glue to fix the broken piece (although it doesn't look super good) Here is a tip if you are buying this camera - cut the rubber strip on the battery cover by 5mm near the hinge. That is the one that causes upward push leading to the locking grove to break. It should also maintain water resistance if you have cut correctly. ====================== Update (08/04/2022) The battery cover lock broke while opening. I have used the camera couple of times & it seemed to function well. But this seems to be like a defect reported by other reviewers as well. Now the cover stays open & I have contacted the seller for help. ====================== The camera is packaged well, comes with accessories & setup was simple. The app isnt great. Also when the camera is connected to the phone, there is no internet connection. So I dont know how "live" works. Also, camera had sound issues. Their support provided steps & factory reset seem to fix the issue for now. The accessories arent sufficient if you want to use it outdoors. I ordered their 7-in-1 accessories pack which has head, chest & hand mounts(for water sports) I took the camera for spin over the weekend. Here are my impressions 1. Camera performed well when it comes to videos. However, the still images are having fish eye effect. 2. The sound has hissing noise in quite environment. But it captures sound well in noisy environment. Also, there was sound captured inside their water proof case. That was something unexpected 3. I recorded videos at 1080p@30fps and the battery came around one hour. I dont know 4k@30fps which is max resolution 4. The drawback is side of microsd card supported. 64GB isnt enough to capture continuous videos over the action filled weekend. 5. Another issue is, camera goes to standby to save power. If you are using eg: head mount, there is no way to know that in their wrist controller or wake it up. Ideally, I would like the camera to sleep when not used. But I want it to wake up & record when required. Also, something on wrist band to inform about low battery(may be a red led blinking?) Since I bought during prime day sale, I got good discount on this. So it seems to be a good alternative to expensive gopros. I would recommend to budget conscious & people who have burnt money(loosing, breaking) on gopros.

Ease of use for the kids to get into videos/photos. but wifi connection to the app on the phone is rather finicky. otherwise shots are good and quality is decent. kids are enjoying the use of it.

A câmera é boa, com limitações mas tem um excelente custo x benefício. A vantagem é que ela vem recheada de acessórios, ou seja, praticamente tudo o que você precisará para começar a gravar as suas aventuras. Não se esqueça que você vai precisar com um cartão SD de até 64Gb, classe 10 UHS-I de excelente qualidade pra poder gravar em 4k. Recomendo a câmera e o vendedor responde as perguntas e cumpriu rigorosamente a descrição do anúncio.
