Nice dishes for everyday use.
We have 12 of the 6-inch, 12 of the 8 inches, and 12 of the 10-inch plates. As other said, they will 'scratch'. The scratching seems being caused by the matte finish acting as a very fine sandpaper to metal utensils; add that to them being matte black, it shows more. Scrubbing the plates with a scotch pad seems to remove the 'scratches' (the dishwasher won’t take them off though).Size wise, we use the 8-inch plates the most. The 6-inch plates are too small for much more than snacks (but you could use them under a bowl too). The 10 inch is a standard dinner plate size - we rarely eat that much food in a sitting. The 8, though, is just about perfect for most meals.We also picked up 12 20oz cereal bowls by Danmers and 12 8oz desert bowls from Bruntmor which match these very well to make a complete matte black dish set for daily use (we mainly used plastic before).

Great Quality
Beautiful black plates, very good quality. I am using them for a "Scary Halloween" table. Almost everything you see came from AMAZON. Love shopping with them. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I did end up returning these because I didn’t look at the sizing before I bought them but they are great if you’re looking for small black dinner plates!

Stylish Modern Disc-style Plate
Bought these to add style to the daily table and have been quite pleased with the striking modern look. At 10” inches they are a standard sized plate, a bit smaller than what I typically use. However, they do work well on a charger. Also the color is a bit more to the gray side of black, so take that into consideration when planning you table design.

Exactly What I Needed
Gorgeous solid plates. I love that they have some weight to them and do not feel flimsy. Yet they are not extremely heavy.

I'll be buying more
A good, big, plate for American dinners. If you slap a big New York Strip, or cut of salmon off the grill down on it; there's still room for a baker and some veg. Simple design with an impeccable finish.
