Q: Has anyone had trouble with the 'grass catcher' falling off? my tool worked fine but now the the grass catcher' will not stay on.

I sent it back. It might work for grass but not for trinmm

Q: how long is cutting blade ?

I only use shears which are about 5 to 6 inches across so the hedge trimmer must be about 10 inches long. I trim my bushes by hand.

Q: Will this work with Bosch Core 18v 4.0ah batteries?

No . I went into my shop and tried one of my Bosch batteries in this tool .they don't fit
