Rose Essential Oils - Aromatherapy Bulgarian Rose Oil with Rosehip Seed Oil and Jojoba Oil for Skin, Hair, Face, Candle Making and Soap Making. 30ml

First off, I’m a guy, in my late 30’s and I’ve never used or purchased beauty products for myself in my life, ever... until now. It’s partly because I am a guy and don’t feel like I need to look beautiful, and partly because it is slightly extra work to put stuff on the face every day. This is the one thing that my wife showed me that I have found myself wanting to use and buy. I started off using pure rosehip oil on my face from my wife’s collection for about a year. I’ve tried different types of rosehip oils, and found some work better than others for ACNE, so they are not all the same. Rosehip oil generally doesn’t smell good either. It’s not a pleasant odor to put on the face but it does wonders for the skin. This Hera Nature product smells much better than the stinky pure rosehip oils I’ve used. It has a very nice scent which I assume comes from the Rose oil (not rosehip). Jojoba oil is also good and this works great for my ACNE so it’s a winner. It moisturizes and helps heal and repair skin cells, so you look great. Final Comment: BEWARE of allergies. My wife, unfortunately, seems to have developed an allergic reaction to products with roses, so she can’t use this anymore, but it’s excellent for me.

I've been using this oil on my face day and night, applying onto damp skin, for a bit over 3 weeks. I'm dealing with acne, scarring and a lot of dryness. First of all, I'm a pretty experienced user of natural oils, and the quality of this product really impressed me. It smells beautifully of natural rose oil and I love the simple ingredient list. The rosehip oil gives my skin an unreal glow, while jojoba does a very good job at moisturizing. It also works very well as a base for foundation for dryer skin, helping the makeup to blend in seamlessly. I didn't expect it to help with my acne, however since using this product I've noticed less breakouts and any that I have heal quickly. It also started to lighten up acne related pigmentation in my skin. I'm very prone to getting clogged pores and this oil didn't cause any. I love how affordable this oil is and will definitely purchase another bottle when I run out. It's gonna take awhile though, because it's a very efficient product.

I dab a few drops of this oil on my face after washing it, and it seems to make my fine lines and wrinkles less noticeable (I'm mid-50s). When my face is less dry, just this oil alone is sufficient, but I also layer it under a facial moisturizer. The scent is heavenly, and rose oil has been studied to show its aroma improves mood. So, sometimes, I also put a drop or two on my wrists or temples when I need to shake off the crankies. It also makes a wonderful cuticle oil. This oil is already in a carrier oil (jojoba and rosehip), so it can be applied directly to the skin without irritation. That said, since it is already less concentrated, it's perhaps not the best choice for diffusion. I will definitely keep this as part of my daily skincare routine throughout the year. I would give this as a gift to girlfriends too.

I gave it 4 stars because of the nice blend of rose oil, rosehip, and jojoba oil. These three are amazing oils ! And having them in 1 product is incredible ! However, I took away 1 star because the oil is heavy; it does not absorbe easily and stays on my face. I am used to rosehip oil and how quickly it dries, and in comparison this oil does not feel comfortable on my face. This smell is strong but fresh. I will continue to use it and I hope to see results soon !

I love this oil! I use it in my diffuser and have made several different recipes for facial serums for my roller balls. Since this oil is mixed with carriers you do not need to dilute it and can apply it directly to your skin. (I especially like to apply it to my face with or without other essential oils.) This mixes well with many different oils, some of my favorite oils being Frankincense and Hera Nature's Sandalwood and Jasmine oils. I like that you can experiment with many different mixtures to make your own creations. Some of mine smell heavenly and can be used as perfumes..."natural" perfumes with no added chemicals. This is actually good for your skin. I really think you will like this if you try it. (I know I've come back for more!) Since the customer service at this company is excellent and very informative I think you will have a very good experience if you decide to make a purchase. Try it, you'll like it! JLo .

I came across this while I was looking for rose oil to add to my current mix of rosehip and jojoba face oil. Seemed like a nobrainer! I love the scent. For those who are reading reviews and see various comments on the scent, I would say this doesn’t smell like rose perfume. It smells like you just buried your face in a bunch of roses. You know that scent and it’s fabulous! This goes on smoothly and absorbs well. My skin feels noticeably soft. I’m hopeful this will become my new favorite.

I have pretty dry skin. On the beginning side of aging skin. This oil does not absorb. It just sits on my skin like a greasy perfume. Normally my skin sucks up moisturizers like it ran a marathon in the desert but this oil just does not absorb. I barely use any. I don't even squeeze it. I just let a few drops drop onto my hand and those drops cover my whole face including eyelids and under chin. I definitely can't wear it during the day because I look like a greased up pig but it is ruining my pillowcases while wearing it at night so I guess I just need to buy some cheap pillowcases for the nights I use this. Or something. I don't know. The reason I am giving it 3 stars at all is because it does moisturize, does give my skin a glow and does smell nice. I have only worn it a few times so far so I may upgrade my review if it turns out to be some greasy magic in a bottle that suddenly takes 10 years off my face but for now, 3 stars seems fair.
