Arrived today and gave the house a once over with it. Overall I was impressed with how good it was at picking up the dirt left behind by our old Dyson. At first glance it may look less robust than the Dyson but it didn’t prove to be and it comes with a 3 year guarantee. The suction is good - it has 2 settings. The low power setting was fine with our hard floors but i felt it needed the oomph of the higher settings for carpets. I would recommend getting a second battery as I didn’t quite get the whole house done before the battery gave out - if I used the lower power setting all the time it probably would’ve been fine. Impressed with the crevice tool - worked much better than the Dyson we just binned. Impressed with its ability to pick up hair in the internal rotating brush which you can switch on or leave off. Did find trying to remove the rotating brush to clean out the hair and put it back in again a bit of a pfaff - the locking mechanism is a bit fiddly. All in all i would day it was good value for the money paid and very easy to use.

This is a superb vacuum cleaner. I decided to read as many reviews on it as I could. Nearly all of them were very favourable with ample justification. I couldn't find out from the product description what the voltage was. When I did discover that it was 18 volts I admit that I was a bit disappointed as I thought that it would not be powerful enough. But my confidence was very quickly fully restored when I started using it. It is, in fact, very powerful in spite of it's relatively low voltage. The suction power is terrific and the battery life is excellent. It is so effective that I have rarely needed to use the booster mode. If that is used then the battery does naturally run out of power rapidly. But normal power is usually ample and really good. It is light and easy to use. The dust box is very easy to empty and clean. All in all I think this is probably the best vacuum cleaner that I've ever owned in just about every respect.

Turned it on with the main head and initially wasn't impressed at all, seemed like a cheap knockoff. No suction at all, but then turned the turbo on and thought, OK, this is actually alright, however it wasn't picking up bits of fluff and thread, then discovered the motor button and bang. It picked everything up. I used my old hoover in the lounge and stairs only yesterday, so it was clean, but I went over them again with this and the collection bucket was FULL. I mean full. How was all this in my carpet? I couldn't see it. And I only hoovered (with a Henry Hoover) yesterday. So, yep, super impressed, however... all this performance comes at a cost. That cost is the battery. You turn it on turbo and the head motors on and the power level immediately drops a bar. You've got about 8 minutes to vacuum, because that's how long the so called 45 minute battery lasts when it's running balls to the wall. Should have got the 2 battery version as you need it to do more than 2 rooms. And it takes about 4 hours to charge the battery.The accessories are fine, however the pet tool needs to be used at an awkward angle to lie flat, but I suppose that depends on your height. I tried using it without the pole on the stairs and it was impossible. Its fine with the pole on a flat surface, or going down the stairs, but you can't use it going up. Awkward on a sofa too.Very impressed with the power, Design, and price (I paid 129), the battery is woeful, and that pet tool is a bit awkward. Do I regret buying it, definitely not. Would I go back to a Henry? Never. Could it be improved on? A little bit, but nothing I can't live with.

This stick vacuum cleaner was purchased to replace an old inherited vac at our holiday home. I was shocked at the performance of the Vax Blade 4 Pet Cordless stick vacuum. It performs equally as well as the Dyson I use at home. It has great pickup power, is very easy to set up and use and the charge lasts for several uses all around the house. I’m delighted with this vacuum cleaner and consider it excellent value for money. I recommend this product.

I had done quite a lot of research before purchasing a cordless vacuum. Dyson has a good reputation where vacuumcleaners are concerned but they are so expensive. I have had a Dyson vac they do have good suction but they canbe cumbersome to use so when I replaced it I did not choose Dyson I chose a shark which is brilliant. I needed a cordless to whip around and do the job speedily. I was not prepared to pay an eye watering amount to do this, soafter much research I decided to get a Vax Blade 4 Pet cordless vacuum, I also purchased the pro kit (extra tools)I have a dog so these would be super usefull. This vac was more than I dared to hope for at a fraction of the priceof a Dyson. The suction is really powerfull you can change from hard floor to carpet at the press of a button (notwith a dyson). It`s extremely manoeuvrable and so comfortable to use and lightweight. Attaching tools easy, emptying easy. The suction remains the same even if the battery is running down. There is a button to increasethe suction but I doubt if it ever would be used. If you do use it the battery runs down quicker. I did have the opportunity to try a Dyson and yes it`s good no difference in suction,but it did make my arm ache, and it comeswith a hefty price tag ! I would recommend this cordless to anyone, the battery life is good I can do my entirehouse and have battery to spare, the battery charges up really well. I cannot fault this cordless vacuum in my opinion it is as good as the Dyson in some areas better.So in a nutshell go for the Vax or go for a name.

I've had this product since summer 2023 and after a testing it for over 2 years, it's not that great.Pros:- it's portable because it's cordlessCons:- Very hard to take apart and put together, in a sense that parts feel very stiff- Product isn't great on high pile carpet. The rotating brush stops rotating all the time because the sensor can't handle high pile carpets.- It's not that great at picking up fur, maybe it'll work better for people who own short haired pets- The additional small bits aren't that great at picking up anything- The battery life on this thing is barely 20 minutes on max speed, which I need to use in order to get the fur off my carpetOverall, this product isn't great for high pile carpets and long fur animals. The parts are very stiff. I only held on because I've spent the money and feel like I have to make use of it as much as possible, even though I find myself more frustrated with this than ever.

First up I bought Vax as my previous corded vacuum was a Vax pet. It was an amazing machine and Vax support WAS excellent when it developed a fault after 24 months they replaced it (you get 3 years warranty on Vax vacuums when registered online)Now onto this one, on high power mode it's great, works brilliant on both my wooden and carpeted surfaces.The battery life is dire though, 10 minutes max. If I lower the power it last longer but suction is massively reduced meaning it doesn't lift properly.Now the real problemAfter only a few months the battery stopped charging and would just flash red indicating it had a fault. Given my previous experience of Vax support I wasn't too worried.Unfortunately Vax support has really taken a tumble, they don't answer the phone, they don't answer live chats eitherI used a web form and outlined I'd ran the relevant troubshooting as per THEIR support articlesFive days later, I received a reply asking me to carry out the same troubleshooting that I'd already doneFrustrating, but I done it anyway, and replied explaining id been a week without the vacuum I'd paid £250 for. I politely requested a speedy resolution.Five days later they replied advising they'd send a new battery.3 days later I got a dispatch confirmation, and 5 days later it arrived.18 days to sort a simple fault with the battery, all in all I'm really disappointed to see how much Vax service has dropped, and concernd that the battery failed so quickly.

I already own a corded Vax that delivers incredibly powerful suction and works brilliantly on carpets, so I initially didn’t expect a lightweight cordless model to perform nearly as well. However, this one has completely exceeded my expectations.It’s compact, lightweight, and surprisingly effective—especially considering its size.
