Game changer for hammock camping – stayed warm and set up in minutes!
I took the OneTigris Hideout underquilt out on a three-night hammock camp recently and I’m seriously impressed. Setup was a breeze thanks to the built-in elastic straps and short bungee loops — one quick clip and I was ready. The 700 g polyester cotton fill and snug fit under my hammock kept the cold out and made a real difference when the night temps hit the low 40s. Weighing in around 2 lbs (890 g) and compressing down nicely, it didn’t add much bulk to my pack. The materials (210T terylene shell + 300T pongee lining) feel solid and well made for the price. If I had to pick one downside: it’s best suited for standard-sized hammocks and may not offer the best fit if you’re often laying very diagonally or using a wide double hammock. But honestly, for the price and performance — this underquilt hits a sweet spot. Highly recommend it for hammock campers wanting reliable warmth without breaking the bank.

Great All-Purpose Underquilt
This was my first underquilt so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. My first outing with it was camping in Yosemite, in late April. There was a cold snap the week we went out, and temps remained between 20-30F. Luckily this underquilt (along with a decent sleeping bag) saved my ass. I slept like a baby, warmer than ever. This thing has proven to be light, easy to pack, easy to set up, and proven to be warm (may be difficult if you’re very tall). There are lighter, more portable, and warmer underquilts abailable, if needed for an extreme outing. If you’re planning on doing most regular temperature campouts, I firmly believe this is the best you can buy at this price point.

Good starter under quilt - inexpensive
This is a must have for hammock camping anywhere, seriously get yourself an under quilt. I’ve tried stuffing my hammock with blankets along with my sleeping bag and it hardly worked. With products like this under quilt the difference is night and day. When camping The most gentle breeze can suck body heat away and leave you shivering. I went with this product and had good results. It feels like a warm hug from behind and helps retain so much heat for those cool nights and windy days. Suggestions: The clips are a fine feature that can hook right onto the carabiner of your hammock. However the elastic cord that suspends the quilt is a bit springy and stretches out over time. I understand it’s meant to stretch to prevent the quilt from tearing, but I believe non elastic cord would work best so long as the quilt is not strung too tight and not bearing any of your weight. Other than that I have no complaints. I noticed that other users had the same idea with the elastic cord. • not heavy • good functionality • adequate quality for the price

Keeps you insulated at a great price
Great price point and kept me warm hammock camping in the 40 degree temps. I hammock camped for the first time in November 2025 without one and regretted it. This will be an essential camping item here on out.

Great Underquilt
Excellent warmth. Slept three nights in mid 30° weather and the underquilt with a 0° bag was the perfect combination.

Worked well for a big guy
I'm 6'3" and 250+ lbs. Several reviews suggest that the suspension is weak or the cords too short. I replaced them with 1/8 inch shock cord and eliminated any problems. This is an underquilt, not a hammock. It isn't intended to hold a person's weight. It's purpose is to fit beneath the hammock to hold in heat. The OneTigris underquilt is big enough to cover my under regions while lying in a 12 foot hammock on a diagonal lay. Temps got down to about 57 degrees one evening on a hang and I was comfortable with only a cotton bed sheet on top of me. I did this intentionally to see how well the UQ would work. After about 2 hrs we had to leave; something more substantial would have been required on top of me to stay comfortable all night but the UQ did it's job for the time we were there. One part of my foot was not protected by the UQ, most likely a sleeping bag or overquilt would have taken care of that in a real overnight situation. With that being said, this item could benefit from being a few inches wider on the sides, particularly at the ends. But we hammockers tend to make/modify gear anyhow so adding a side piece or even an extra layer of insulation inside the UQ to lower the temperature rating is doable and probably more effective than a 'one size fits all' solution from the manufacturer. Overall, this item is effective and a good value.

Perfect underquilt for a hammock
Despite my drafty apartment, keeps my indoor hammock cozy all year around. The bad reviews seem to be from people who think this is a standalone hammock. This is not a hammock, it goes under your hammock. It is designed to not hold weight... because it shouldn't be holding any weight. It traps a pocket of air under the hammock that gets heated up by body heat and keeps you warm. Don't buy if you're actually looking for a hammock. However, if you already have a hammock and are cold, this will definitely help 😊

Great budget underquilt
The short of it: Good quality, easy to clip on, does a good job of keeping you warm, also looks nice. I’ve slept in my camping hammock several times before buying the underquilt and I’ve noticed a huge difference in comfort once the weather starts to cool off overnight. The ends are elastic with small hooks and they are simple to attach. If you’re looking for low budget that doesn't feel cheap, this is the one.
