MOOM USDA Organic Sugar Wax Hair Removal for Men - Body, Leg & Face - 12 oz

This is my first time waxing myself with a sugar based wax. I’ve used sticky waxing strips prior to this, and I’ve visited the salon multiple times to get my arms and legs waxed. What stood out to me here was the easy of application, I use a blunt knife to apply the wax straight from the jar, and as I’ve seen the salon lady do so many times before me, I simply use a strip and pat a few times to have the strip adhere to the wax, and pull. The pain is literally non existent and the fact that it’s a sugar based wax makes me happy, as I’m not applying any chemicals to my sensitive skin. I love it! I will be purchasing more. Waxing in the US is expensive. I typically shell out 50-60$ on a single salon visit but I do see myself saving the money and doing it myself at home from now on.

I was really disappointed with this product. The wax is too sticky and difficult to spread evenly, even when warmed up as instructed. It doesn’t grab hair effectively, especially for coarse or thicker areas, and I ended up having to go over the same spot multiple times, which irritated my skin. For something labeled as “organic” and “for men,” I expected much better results. The cleanup is also a hassle — it leaves a sticky residue that’s hard to remove. Definitely not worth the money or effort.

Okay, I have tried other waxing kits, but honestly nothing has truly survived going straight into the trash, until now. This works great, I used it on my underarms. Okay so the first attempt did not go as great as I thought because I already had PTSD from the last wax job. Scary. But, I survived and my daughter got a kick out of it....Rip...now it does wash off quickly (shower, wash rag, water, you get the idea) unlike other wax products. It also doesn’t need to be heated like most wax products, all I do is sit the jar in my sink filled with hot H2O for a few minutes then you are ready to go. I would recommend a thin layer (the sticks are provided) and press the fabric (also provided) onto your skin, then with a swift movement rip it off. I don’t recommend doing it too many times in the same area, but when you are done rinse the sticks off wash the fabric and set them down to dry (reusable). I haven’t tried it on my legs legs, but I hope to do it soon. Hope this info helps. FYI it is also easy to get the wax off the jar opening with a few swipes from a moist object (I just wet my fingers with faucet water then rub the edges of the jar to get the wax off before closing the lid).

This product does work, at least it removes about 60-70 percent of the hair. You do need to heat it up, but not too much, so it's a little inconvenient to have to keep it warmed up sufficiently to spread easily but still not burn yourself. It's quite sticky. You might be able to reuse the cloth on another area of skin (using only the product on the cloth, without applying additional). It didn't work so well for me and I tried several times with different strips. It is nice that it's all natural. It's also easy to clean up because warm or hot water will easily dissolve the stickiness and then it's quick to wipe up. 6 ounces was barely enough to do my arms and part of the chest. Most products seem to have 6 oz or less for their standard "kit" and it really isn't enough for much more than a couple of limbs--unless you just don't have much hair. And, unless you're numb, don't have nerves, or insensitive to having scores of hair getting ripped out don't be fooled by smiling faces as they rip off the strips. These products do hurt, not as much as home waxing, but it will hurt and there are areas that will hurt more. But the result lasts much longer than shaving and the skin does feel better.

I don’t hate this wax but unfortunately I don’t love it either. It is very thick no matter how much it’s warmed up so it makes it hard to wax properly and spread evenly. It does cause a little irritation to the skin but not horrible. It’s super sticky and a bit hard to wipe off with wax remover. It also has a mild cologne type sent to it but I guess it is for men. Not the worst wax but not highly recommended.

Purchased this product to get rid of unwanted hair in the nether-regions, particularly the back 9. This made the process more difficult and messy than I imagine it will be for most guys who will be getting this for more conventional uses (underarms, legs, etc.) Despite the potential for mess, the sugar base of the wax luckily makes for relatively simple cleanup, and the ability to clean and reuse the fabric strips is also an added bonus. I questioned the effectiveness initially, until I showered and washed off the excess hair and wax to find that it actually did a good job, with only some minor irritation. When used properly Moom serves its purpose and proves effective at removing unwanted hair without the hassles of some other waxing kits and the privacy of doing it in your own home. For the price, this is an excellent value

Excellent product! Do note that it does NOT come with waxing strips, but I saw this before buying and just bought a 150 pack on Amazon along with it. It works very well, as I am a very hairy man (my average body hair length is around 1cm) and it removed it with very little trouble or pain. I did notice a few stragglers, but I think that was just user error.

I usually purchase the sugar wax from Paradise however it is kinda expensive for the tub you get and it doesn't go far so I was on the hunt for a new Sugar wax and came across this one. Read the reviews and it's a good price for the amount you get so I decided to give it a go. I am impressed, this wax was AMAZING! It took me less time to wax and used less fabric strips that I normally do, it grabbed onto the hairs perfectly and got them all out. Not sure if it's because it's formulated for men but this is much better than any other female waxes I've tried. you only need to heat it up for around 30 sec to get the best consistency and for it to be not to hot to use. I would highly recommend this and will continue to repurchase.

Works really well. 20 Se)conds initially in the microwave turns it very runny, easy to apply. Bit tricky initially but a bit of practice, you soon get the hang. Didn't take long to fully wax my chest (able to do this myself, and all the strips easily washed in warm water and re-usable when dry. Takes off all hair really easily.

This is a really excellent product - though messy to use, it works very well, and washes right off with soap and water. I love that there's no waste too, that the cotton strips are resuable, and at the end the jar's recyclable.

It's a great, working product. Cleans everything up nicely. Only suggestion is get a friend or lover's help to avoid missed pieces and help with even application and proper removal. Results last for weeks. Number of uses is directly proportional to hair amount. Myself I can squeeze out four to five more uses. My partner only got two for his upper torso alone. Hair growth comes back finer. The more times you use it the less times you'll need to.
