Organic Moringa powder If you have a medical condition, are expecting or nursing babes ,then you should ask your doctor before using this. The pack does say that their UK packing facility also handles Nuts Gluten and Soya. This is a green, dried and powdered leaf of the Moringa tree from India , which you can add to drinks or foods.It is reported to be highly nutritious. It tastes fresh and leafy , a bit like spinach but not as strong. You can add it to smoothies or anything where you think it wont affect the taste ,to give a bit of a vitamin C boost. If you have greenery dislikers in the house who could do with a nutrition boost, you can sprinkle it on things or into doughs,sauces and gravies to add some clandestine green veg . On the label it says 10 grammes is one portion but I measured this (see photo) and 10 grammes is about 6 teaspoons or 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons which is a lot to begin with. Much better to start with 1 teaspoon at a time until you get used to it. Remember it is dried and if it were in fresh leaf form , it would be about 6 times as much greenery. Moringa is also claimed to be beneficial for people with memory problems,Blood sugar and cholesterol problems, I dont know how much of that has been clinically proven. I like that this is organic, nothing but the dried leaf. That means it doesnt have weird additives and was grown naturally so what you are consuming is as near as possible to how it would naturally grow. The pack is 1KG so is very good value . Its quite large, 12 inches tall by 8 wide and about 4 inches fat If you have a space for it to stand upright, it will stand by itself but take care that it will stay shut if getting knocked over. There is a zip lock closure once you have cut the bag open but it wont stay closed on my pack. I think the powder getting into the zip lines, stops them staying shut. A peg helped. At present it is October 2020 and the best before shows April 2022 The organic soil association logo is present on the bag and the Vegan symbol The bag is number 7 recyclable plastic incase that is of any interest to anyone.

We enjoy drumstrick (moringa) curry but its often difficult to find fresh drumstick (moringa) especially during the winter. This moringa powder taste earthy, quite a strong taste but its easy to add to smoothies to increase Iron and Vitamin A intake.

This plant leaf has very good health giving reviews and so I was happy to try it for free from Amazon. The colour is a good green and the powder consistent. The packet has a seal but it won't work. I've received another of their products the aloe powder the packet has the same problem the seal won't work. It's too fine to work with a powder product since it arrives unclosed with a year off seal the products powder is free to enter the seal channel. Had they presealed it before sealing the outer this wouldn't have happened and there's no way of fixing this than to decant if you want to keep this airtight and the antioxidants from being exposed to the air and degrading. This has loads of protein, iron and calcium and potassium far more than the banana for example for the last nutrient and clearly vegans should be interested in this since they don't eat meat and this is good for the protein they may lack especially if they don't like beans or soya. I didn't like the taste but you can put it in a curry that's the best idea I've heard as on cereal it's gross and burns the back of the throat even a teaspoon worth on a bug bowl worth was horrible.

I heard about Moringa a year ago only due to a friend asking me to buy some for him. I looked into it then and was impressed with it's benefits. Unfortunately the oil that he bought was too expensive for me to use as a regular supplement. This powder however is much more realistically priced. It's not so easy to take at regular times though due to it needing to be mixed with something like a smoothie, soup or stew etc. For this purpose though it's perfect! The powder is super fine and does end up like a fine dust on the worktop no matter how careful you are. Great health benefits and ideal as an extra ingredient.

If you do not have an issue with gluten, nuts or soya then you can enjoy the amazing anti-oxidant properties of this amazing natural fibre. It is a very good source of vitamins A, E and K and it has wonderful credentials certified by the Soil Association as organic, so it is therefore GMO-free. It is reassuring that it does not have any additives, preservatives or food colours, non-irradiated and vegan friendly. Unfortunately we have a coeliac in the family and this moringa is packed in a ‘facility that also handles nuts, gluten and soya so it is very disappointing that I can’t put it into our favourite recipes but I am not able to our great disappointment we cannot risk using this product. I cannot understand why Goodfarm has not found a way of processing there excellent product in a facility that does not process nuts, gluten or soya as this would increase their market uptake. This information is in 8 European languages in very small print on the label but not in the product description section. I have dropped the star because for many people this product is OK but if you are a coeliac, wheat sensitive or have a nut allergy it is not worth taking the risk and I wish it was easier to find the information. This has taught me to look more closely in future at the additional photographic material on line. Moringa is known as a ‘miracle tree’ as it contains all the essential amino acids so I was looking forward to adding it to our smoothies. I hope that Goodfarm find a facility that does not handle nuts, gluten and soya as that would increase their client base for their promising products. Long Best before date of April 2022

First time i try this product and i am pleasantly surprised. Just on it's own with warm water is ok, but if you add honey and lemon then it becomes a tasty combination. For a cup i use half of teaspoon of morninga, i pour a little lukewarm water and let it sit for a minute, then i add the rest of the water, one teaspoon of honey and juice from half a lemon. It's best to take it in the morning on empty stomach. I do feel a bit more energized after drinking the first glass. I like that this product is organic and ethically sourced with no extra additives.

This is a huge bag of organic moringa powder. It is a good quality and has a slightly sweet taste, I can’t taste any bitterness when adding it to my smoothies. I think it’s a decent price for a 1kg bag. Please note that it’s packaged in a facility that handles nuts, gluten and soya

This product tastes bitter and acidic that I can only trust this is good for me. You get a very good amount for the price you pay. This is not five stars due to the supposedly resealable bag did not work that I had to place it in another container. Other than that no issues at all.
