Excellent product
The CD100 - rechargeable, portable, Bluetooth enabled -,is exactly what I needed. I use it with my wireless earbuds and have rediscovered my large collection of CDs. I realise that I had become lazy, streaming music on my smart speaker or on my iPhone. I don’t want to be bothered with replacing batteries, so the rechargeable device is ideal; and I dislike corded earphones. The unit is portable so I can use it anywhere in the house or garden. I dislike listening to music on commercial radio n, because of the intrusive advertising and mindless chatter from presenters. Even BBC Radio 3 is now becoming more like Classic FM. Listening to my large collection of CDs, both ‘classical’ music and jazz, is the perfect solution. The sound quality is excellent. The CD100 answers all my needs, I am very satisfied with my purchase Thank you.

Good purchase
Great little CD player. Simple to use. Light and easy to carry as I use it to take to my dance class. This is the third one I’ve bought, first one lasted years, second one I dropped and damaged it , was happy to purchase the same one again. Sound quality is good Choice of sounds eh bass, classical etc.

Not bad for the cash, but don’t expect top class quality
This is not a bad little disc man for its price at around 39 quid. It has all the features you need, easy to set up and link to Bluetooth devices, though sometimes when you’re changing CD it does lose connection, not a game changer though. nicely built, nice and light to carry or drop in a bag. I bought it mainly for the Bluetooth connection, as headphones with this in the box are your basics, but at least they will get you going. Battery life not bad again for the price you wouldn’t expect much more. The only downside I really have with this product, and again this is probably down to the price point at 39 quid, is that when listening on headphones via Bluetooth and or through a Bluetooth speaker or speakers, between tracks, and if you pause the machine, you can hear the spinning motor for the disc, as clearly at this price point they haven’t used top quality internal parts, and obviously shielding isn’t very good, but, you can’t hear this over the music when playing so again, for 39 quid it’s a good little machine, but don’t expect quality at this price if you want quality sound, then you’ll have to pay quality prices! This is a good little starter machine, and is a convenient Bluetooth streaming CD device for taking you back into your memories to play your old physical hands-on CDs

Good product!
Player arrived on time, and - I think - is a good price. I've already been using a Majority sound bar for a couple of years, so I was hopeful that this little player would be of similar quality. I haven't had it long enough to test it thoroughly, but have been able to pair it with my bluetooth ear buds quite easily. The sound quality is good, with several equaliser settings, and the volume goes very high with little or no distortion. The build quality is also good, and the player feels quite substantial without being "clunky". The player comes with a separate in-line control to use with wired ear buds if you wish (provided), a C-type usb cable, and a short auxiliary cable for connecting to other gadgets if bluetooth isn't an option. . I bought this item to play MP3 discs of vintage radio programmes as well as music CDs, and so far it plays both excellently. It also comes with a free 3 year warranty, which I'll be sure to apply for!

Impressive Design, Value and Performance!!
Upon first use wirelessly (Bluetooth), or wired to speakers or headphones, the player performs flawlessly. Whilst I didn't yet stress the anti-skip technology, I've noticed there is no jitter/break in the audio stream when I pick up the device and use transport controls whilst a cd is playing. As a portable cd player not tethered to mains electricity, the built-in rechargeable battery is said to offer 10 hours use playing standard cds but even more - 12 hours - playing mp3 cds, with a single charge. I cannot yet comment on time between charges. CDRs and HDCDs are also said to be supported, which will have me re-visiting my cd collection to hear how these all sound on this one player. I really appreciate the extra features included in the device (choice of alternative tonal settings/eqs, play modes - including customising your preferred order of tracks - and memory mode, which resumes play at the place you last stopped listening). And I take extra delight in the inclusion of a remote transport control that is inserted in-line with your wired-out sound and adds further flexibility to how you consume your sounds. It needs to be fully inserted into the headphone out socket for the controls to work. Enclosed ear buds are appreciated, although these are as yet untried: they may well come in to their own as a travelling companion with the cd player. The description on Amazon's listing states Bluetooth 5.3 is featured, whereas the product's enclosed Instructions Guide cites version 4.2 in the specs. Having seen elsewhere the benefits of the more up-to-date spec, that would seem to be an attractive extra where it is incorporated. Overall, the CD100 feels stout enough without feeling over-engineered and heavy for a portable unit. It has a plastic body, and yet weight and stability seem well sufficient. For instance, the player gives no indication it would slide on a table top when inserting a disc or using the controls. Manufacturing and design standards result in a product that looks aesthetically pleasing, with clean lines, an easy-to-read lcd back-lit display, which self-times off; and attractive soft-touch acrylic (blue back-lit) domed mode buttons and scalloped transport buttons. By ticking so many boxes for me, I feel it has provided huge bang for my buck, and I was very keen to take delivery of it. Thus far, my hopes and expectations have been more than met. I have been delighted to learn of its features and explore each in turn; and I look forward to this device becoming a faithful companion in time to come. For the present, I am grateful for the renewed interest and enthusiasm it's given me in my cd collection.

Some good, some not so good, but for the price, Ok.
Sound is pretty good for something so small and reasonably priced. EQ is good to, no unnecessary bass. Not so good, lid does not open far enough to make changing CD easy. Really annoying, Bluetooth disconnects when the CD finishes, put in new CD, press and hold mode, reconnect, miss first 30 seconds of play back, press rewind. Is not a disc man, cannot use for exercise as no belt loop or other mounts, shame.

Purtroppo ho dovuto restituirlo. Acquistato per essere collegato tramite bluetooth alla VW T-Cross, ma il bluetooth non è compatibile/riconosciuto dall'auto.

Nice packaging with detailed 12 page instruction book and every accessory you might need including audio patch cord, charger cable, headphones and inline controller for play/pause, stop, advance track, volume. The case is compact but well built and includes 4 rubber cushion (feet) on bottom to hold in place on any surface - these are not the cheap stick on rubber dots, they are attached to circles fabricated in the case. Battery charged in about 2 hours and lasted through at least 10 CDs, seemed like it could have played for hours more. Buttons on lid are real buttons, not thin membrane surfaces made into cover. The player quickly connected to my JBL bluetooth speaker and read/played audio and Mp3 tracks faster than any of 12 other players I have owned over the past 25 years. I wish the open and volume controls were easier to access but that's part of a compact player. I've never heard of the Oakcastle brand before but I am a big fan now. I highly recommend this reasonably priced device.
