This tool quality is very good. I use it with two size of pins for awg 26 and 20. Works well with both. Even smallest jst pins look very professionally crimped after a single move.

I’ve never had to crimp JST or Dupoint connectors before but I have a couple of projects that need them.After watching a couple of YouTube videos on how to crimp this style connectors, I tried it. It takes a little practice and patience but this kit is perfect for my needs.I’ve now made a handful of connections with no issues. Are their better crimpers out there? I’m told yes, but for my purposes these work great and I think they provide great value for the price.

The crimpers are built of nice thick decent metal material, and seem to be durable. They produced a quality job.

It works pretty well for DuPont connectors, a lot better than pliers. I wish it had something to hold the wire into the connector before crimping. You need three hands to operate it.

Nice piece of kit at a good price. Not sure what issues others were having - first crimp I did looked like it came from the factory. Does exactly what it should. I’ll say that the spade connectors were too narrow and thin to work with the OEM connectors on my motorcycle, so I’ll probably need to use both male and female from the kit vs just doing the one side I need. The bullet connectors are a little smaller than OEM too, but will work just fine against OEM mate, with a little spreading or tightening.

I always hated barrel connectors, because I could not crimp the wires to them securely. They always were loose. I would use other connectors. I am rewiring a burn Toyota fuse/relay holder that uses barrel connectors, so I had to use them. I purchased this kit (connector & tool). Took me 2 tries & my crimps were perfect. Looked like a factory crimp. Man, am I happy. Very rarely does a tool actually work better than I expected. This one does. You insert connector, push down on handle to lock in connector, insert wire, squeeze handle until it clicks & release connector, remove & you are done. I crimped 14 wires, installed them in the fuse/relay holder & soldered the other ends to the factory wires. Wrapped with wire loom & tape, looks like factory.Buy this tool, you will not be disappointed.

Every thing I expected.

The set is great but it's for older style pins. Great for vintage cars but not for modern stuff. Good to keep on hand at a shop just not used a lot

I purchased this set of crimpers for use with molex and DuPont automotive connector pins, and it works perfectly for my application. They're well built, leave a solid crimp every time, and affordable!

Great priced "universal" crimper.Front does wire and rear does fatter insulation crimp. Feels well made and guessing the "it broke" comments are from people crimping too fatter cables and terminals.Wire crimp sizes are: 0.25, 0.50, 1.0, 1.5mm2 = AWG 24, 20, 17, 16

The tool itself it great quality and every crimp can be a perfect one with this tool and a bit of practice. The set that comes with it is high quality too. Great solid connects and perfect for speakers and car audio. Will buy again and highly recommended.
