I absolutely love Brickell's Daily Essential Face Moisturizer for Men (the one without SPF) - the scent, the way it absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling great. However, I can only use it during the night because I absolutely need SPF for the daytime. Therefore, I was excited to see Brickell offer this Daily Defense SPF20 Face Moisturizer for Men!My go-to morning moisturizer is Jack Black's and it works great for me but it has Octinoxate which is not good. This Brickell moisturizer does not. Jack Black's is good because it smells great and leaves you facing feeling refreshed but trying to find a daily moisturizer with SPF that is not filled with health threats to you and the environment WITHOUT turning your face into a white mask making everyone think you are an off-duty mime or perhaps enroute to a mime tryout. Nobody likes a mime - especially a mime wannabe.I had very high hopes for Brickell's SPF moisturizer and it does have some less-than-desirable ingredients but none are terrible and are better than Jack Black's. I am willing to take a small risk of putting some less-than ideal ingredients on my skin to avoid being shunned as a mime.The moisturizer goes on slightly whiteish but quickly absorbs and leaves no paling of my face. It feels great and I can keep my skin safer from UV and only be shunned for my grim personality and not because of mime-suspicion.I am adding this to the Brickell products I use often and love - their eye cream, purifying charcoal face wash and the daily moisturizer I use at night.

Hands down the best bang for your buck when it comes to men's moisturizing lotion for your face. You don't need a lot! Apply lightly and this will last you for a long time, especially as it is only meant for your face, and I assume your face isn't that big (compared to the rest of you). It goes on smooth with a crisp, clean feeling and subtle scent, and not greasy. While it's perhaps not as powerful an age reverser as many of Brickel's more specialized products for that purpose (which admittedly I swear by), it hydrates as well as protects from potential harmful affects of the sun beating down on your mug. So my two favorite use cases are before a workout (keeps my face and forehead from feeling dried out) and secondly, during yardwork. And this is that time of year for it (as of this writing). I know I'll get burnt in areas I'm not covered by clothing if I'm out there long enough. Chances are your face is the most exposed part of your own self when you're outside, so why not use a product with high quality, well researched ingredients that is specialized to protect it from the sun? (Note: Don't forget to also dab a little extra on tops of your ears, and the back of your neck when you're planning to be outside)
