I'm also excited to explore some of the other varieties they sell. Is it better than store-bought? Who knows! This honey has a distinctly different taste, but I love the size and its unique flavor. It’s made from buckwheat, and I’ve never tried that in stores, so I can't compare. This experience and that of a photoshoot I have planned has inspired me to dig deeper into how honey is produced. I love it! It's such a healthy food, and I’m planning to use it as a substitute for sugar in my biscuits. The honey is incredible. This buckwheat honey has a deep and rich flavor with a subtle nutty note, and the texture is smooth and velvety. It has always been my favorite honey and still is.

Really good natural honey. I am at my fifth purchase over last two years. Please bear in mind it may differ in years yet remains one of the very best natural honeys. My absolute fav is buckwheat - a rare gem. At least once I ordered buckwheat type as usual and got something mixed or less buckwheat, tasty nonetheless. Hard to go back to anything less than that after you tried.

I ordered the buckwheat honey. It was filled to the top of the jar, with a small foam on the top. It’s thick, and dark (carmel-ish). Taste? It has a little tiny bit sour note. Smell? In a jar, it has a delicate smell, of something earthy, but when dissolved in tea, it smells like honey. I bought the buckwheat one as I searched that it has the health benefits that I looked for. It’s definitely a strong tasting honey but honestly I don’t understand some of the reviews people saying they don’t like it, or that it smells etc. Listen, this honey is from a farm, it’s not filtered FOR A REASON, and that’s why your supermarket honey tastes sooo good, becasue it’s not good for you health. Technically many natural foods/drinks/supplements etc don’t taste fabulous. The most processed foods have the best taste. All I’ll say is this. It tastes god, textured is good, all I really hope for that this honey is authentic in a way of being raw, unfiltered, certified etc (because I’m wondering about the low the price). Overall, I recommend.

I turned it into a very unique tasting mead. The buckwheat flavour really comes through. You have to understand what you're working with - It's got all the pollen in it, which causes it to crystalise a lot more than a treated and filtered honey one would normally find on a shelf. You can spread it on toast of course, but I think I've captured its true purpose here.

So much better value than the supermarkets and much better quality/ flavour in my opinion. I also love the large size as I go through a lot of honey especially as a sweetener instead of sugar. Love the large size as well. I have found it has gone up a fair amount as I used to buy a couple of different brands around £10 but even with the price increase it still represents good value and will be buying again.

The buckwheat honey is an acquired taste, it doesn't have the usual honey smell or taste, it's more earthy and not as sweet as regular honey. But do not let the smell or taste put you off as one thing is for sure, it is just as good as manuka honey in it's beneficial effects, if not better and a lot cheaper. I did some study on YouTube before I decided on this one. If you want honey for health, buy this particular one. I have stocked up.

Miele davvero eccellente. Si sente subito che è puro e crudo, con un profumo intenso e naturale tipico del miele di grano saraceno. Il sapore è ricco, intenso, balsamico e molto piacevole, perfetto sia da solo che in tisane. Ottima anche la consistenza e la qualità generale del prodotto. Confezione ben fatta e prodotto all’altezza delle aspettative. Consigliatissimo.

Amazing honey. Not too sweet which is what I prefer. Its consistency is quite solid though so not exactly easy to spread unless heated slightly. Incredible regardless.

Diese Bewertung gilt dem Verkäufer, nicht ( mehr) dem Produkt. Der Honig hat sich leider in Konsistenz und Geschmack verändert. Der sehr kulante Verkäufer bot eine Rückerstattung an, doch ich wollte dem Honig noch eine Chance lassen, da er immer sooo lecker war und wählte stattdessen ein weiteres Glas Honig, in der Hoffnung, dass er vlt die alte Qualität hätte. Ich habe ihn gerade probiert, es ist leider wieder der veränderte Honig. Ich bin kein Experte, aber er schmeckt eben schon ganz anders...wer es gerne sehr süss mag, für den passt dieser Honig. Zum Süssen von Tee ist er bestens geeignet. Ich mochte den würzig- kräftigen Geschmack lieber. Vielen Dank trotzdem an den Verkäufer!
