A great vinyl to purchase if you like classical orchestral music. The music is without singers and makes the vinyl better by focusing on the instruments used in the films.

I’m delighted and thoroughly pleased with this complete Lord of the Rings soundtrack.

A really nice performance of the iconic LotR and Hobbit music. Obviously it's not the complete soundtrack (it's only two disks).

Very enjoyable compilation of the music of Tolkien's films. The quality of the recording is very good too. Recommend highly!

Great recording, very close to the original and just as entertaining. It’s a shame there’s pretty much no sleeve notes other than the titles. I’ve seen bootlegs better edited. Would still buy though considering the price. Recommended.

La banda sonora de unas peliculas que han marcado la hostroia del cine reciente. ¿Que más añadir? Los vinilos parecen sonar aún mejor que los CD's. La presentación de los discos es magnifica. Todo genial.Excepto la empresa transportista SEUR que primero se equivocó con los horarios, después lo mandó a mi dirección particular cuando habia puesto un punto de recogida como punto de entrega..... Fue una odisea conseguir el producto y finalmente tuve que desplazarme a un polígono que estaba en las quimbambas, en total lo recibó casi una semana después de lo que esperaba.

Es sind nicht die Originale, aber diese Einspielungen können sich wirklich hören lassen. Wer die schönsten und ruhigsten Stücke und Passagen sucht, wird diese Doppel-Cd vielleicht den 3 normalen oder erweiterten Doppel-Cds zu den Hobbit-Filmen und den Einzel-Cds oder den sauteuren CD-Komplett-Boxen zu den Herr der Ringe Filmen vorziehen. Aber auch wenn man alle anderen Versionen besitzen sollte ist, diese kompetente Zusammenstellung eine lohnenswerte Ergänzung. Hier bekommt man die Filmsongs der Reihe neben den Pasasagen und Stücken aus den Filmen als hübsche orchestrale Variante. Eine bessere Zusammenstellung und bessere Neueinspielung außerhalb der üppigen und meist überragenden Originale bekommt man nicht. Das City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra ist eines der derzeit besten Orchester für Filmmusik-Neueinspielungen auf CD und auch für Filmmusik- LIVE-Konzerte, von denen ich schon ein paar verschiedene staunend hören und sehen konnte.
