Family fun game
Game that family and friends love to play.

Great game!
This was such a fun game and big hit at my derby party. Six at a time can play and we loved watching the little horses going down the track. It was quick and a good time for sure. It was easy to use as you just had to put batteries in it and put the horses in the lanes, hit the button and off they went.

I'm Embarrassed lol
I'm a grown man in my 30's. I am embarassed to admit how much fun I have had with this stupid little toy lol. It has brought me more the $30 worth of joy and for that, five stars!

Fun toy we made into a game!
I ended up buying this with the intention to make it a betting or drinking game for me and my friends. The game is made of plastic and requires AA batteries to run and the bottom of the track has a small storage space for the horses. The way that we play is we all pick a different colored horse and place a bet (number of sips) on it. Whoever comes out on top then gives out the number of sips they had bet to the other players. All my friends really get into the game with people hunched over the table yelling and screaming for their horse to win! After having it for a while while I do find it fun and entertaining, I did notice that the 2 tracks on the outside tend to lose the most while the inner tracks have a better chance. I do think it is over priced though and think it worth probably worth $10 at most. Don't buy at full price wait for it to go on sale.

2 time purchasing! So FUN!
I've brought these to bachelor parties, camping trips and cruises. They are great when you heave few minutes of downtime. Adults can wager a few bucks on the race, make it a drinking game or kids can just pick and play for fun. We've spent HOURS playing this and there really is no "sequence" or way to know which horse is going to win. It is truly random. Even my wife, who doesn't like playing board/card/dice games, will play this and really get into it. After a while, one of the tracks started to not work as it should, so we just take that horse off the track. I bought a 2nd one, so now we have more lanes to bet on for bigger groups. It's such a simple game, but it truly can be a memorable experience with some friends and your own set of rules/wagers.

Cool but not exactly as advertised
Really cool little gift but horses one and three win almost every time six gets dead last every single time. Not really that random, feels like certain tracks just accelerate them better than others more often than not

A $5 toy. Breaks quickly. Not 'random'. Horses fall over/don't finish.
I've had this on my wishlist for years, since it was a $5 add-on item, and just never pulled the trigger on buying it. Shame. I watched as the price only ever raised, and once I was certain it was not going to go down, I got it for $17. If it was only $5, all would be fine. It is a $5 toy, selling for $17, and that is a problem. The outer tracks (1&6) are useless, and will lose EVERY time. Either track 3 or 4 will win. Reliably, 50% of the time a horse will fall over during the race. After 1 month, with roughly 10 uses, the gate on track 6 no longer pops up when the horse finishes. There are 2 'black' (really just chiseled away) 'lines' near the end of the track. When the horses hit these, they slow and randomly overcome one another. I imagine this was added to create some end of race excitement, but it does just the opposite. As the horses come to the finish, they come to a halt, and OFTEN just stop on the lines, pushing forward and back but never making it to the finish. This is still in use, as it was purchased to add to a drinking game, but we can only use the center 4 lanes, and it messes up so reliably that we have made rules for when your horse falls over or 'stalls' on the black line at the end. This is a cheap-o game. As I stated originally, if it was still cheap all would be fine. But the price is OUTRAGEOUS considering what you're getting. 3 or 4 times too expensive. NOT WORTH IT!

Love
We love this. My 3 year old son seems to always know which horse will win. It's fun for family's or a group of friends wanting to place a bet.
