How far up your stomach do they come? Im worried they might only come to my belly button and then I'll have a visible line where they are sitting?

Yes they are see through - the black ones less so - but the nude and white you can see your underwear through. Perfect for under summer dresses tho.

I'm a size 10 and ordered the medium, I went by the hip measurement guide they suggested. They don't hold your stomach in, they are really soft but good for wearing under dresses or skirts.
