EASY to Use, GREAT Design, Keeps Water OUT, Looks NICE, and Terrific VALUE!
This is a REALLY OUTSTANDING PRODUCT! The individual pods are well-engineered from a heavy duty plastic with rubber seals, cord guides, and 5 latches (4 around the perimeter). The pods are easy to use, just follow the instructions and take your time. I had to "seat" one-half of the rubber seal in the opposite half before their first use. Just pay attention to the proper "orientation" of each seal before separating it the first time. If I worked hard on the seals it might have taken me up to 10 seconds...NOT A BIG DEAL AND THEY WORK. I have installed twelve pods in my yard, and they work exactly as advertised - preventing water from causing the extension cord from "shorting out" due to a heavy rainfall. Absolutely ZERO issue with water (across 12 pods) and significant foul weather. Obviously, I've bought a set of six twice and will be buying another set for the upcoming holiday lighting BECAUSE they are easy to use, they deliver results, they are a great value for the money, they are sized to accommodate multiple sizes of extension cord, and their design is well thought out. Thank you for such a fabulous product. Cheers, BlueWaterSailor

Weatherproof As Advertised
I needed two of these to protect the plug ends of lights I installed over my deck. They plugged in end-to-end and I wanted to make sure no rain got in. I drilled a small hole so I could attach them to my soffit. They don't really stand out now but next time I paint, they'll get painted and stand out ever less. Because of where they are, two of them live a fairly sheltered life. The other two are used when I set up Christmas lights. These two are fully exposed to the elements and so far so good. They've worked great for me.

Seals
Works well, but the entry and exit seals are a bit tricky to adjust.

Works with 12 awg cord and just enough room inside for 2 plugs and an adapter
Fit Southwire AgriPro 12 awg extension cord. It was tight and needed some muscle to close (higher guage cords will fit easier bc smaller diameter). The gasket is stuck together when opened for the first time so pull apart and make sure to slide into groove properly with no rubber out of place. It's water resistant, not waterproof, so positioned horizontally with end clamps facing down. Heard advice to position it at a slant but never vertically. Just enough space inside to squeeze in 3 prong plug + 15 amp single outlet adapter + 2 prong plug if anti-slip device is moved all the way to one side. See 3rd product photo for reference. It also came with a hook tab which was left inside too. Don't bother with the cable manager flaps. It's fragile and will break. Just place the cord in the grooves and center it in the gasket, close flaps on one end first, next center, then last set of end flaps (two sets of flaps in v position located at both ends), and done. Ignoring the uselessly flimsy plastic flaps inside, it does the job.

Dry extension cords
I use these on extension cords for Holiday lighting. I live in an area of the country where they are subjected to wet ground, rain, snow, and ice. In past years I have had problems with ground fault breakers tripping due to wet extension cords. The covers are easy to install and create a tight seal on the extension cords. There was no moisture in the covers when I disconnected them at the end of the season, and no tripped breakers this year. I recommend these covers.

Watch for missing end gaskets!
2 of the cases had an end missing half the gasket. I didnt want to deal with the hassle of a return & replacement so I'll just make 1 whole & have 1 that can't be used outside.

Works great, slightly confusing right out the box
These work perfectly for christmas lights that are interlinked from 1 string to the next and the basic light duty extension cords I used. It was challrnging to figure out how to open the tube. The 4 end tabs have to be opened, as well as the large center flap. Once opened, there are 2 loose items inside the protector. I did not even use them. Apparently, 1 item is to precent the cords from sliding I presume and the 2 item looked almost like a "T" shaped plastic item. Not sure of it's purpose. The round grommets will need to be pulled apart and then reinserted back into the ends of the protector. They have been pre cut so they still look like 1 piece but, they are easily separated with your fingers. Overall, I like that it seems to be very secure, sealed, and should prevent water from getting into it.

Perfect. But, these are NOT water tight. If your connection is sitting in standing water, it will get in. However, falling rain and snow are effectively kept out. I am using this to connect landscape lights to an extension cord for lighting an Xmas display. The covers are simply laying on the lawn. No snow or water is getting inside even when buried beneath snow. During a thaw period just a bit of moisture got in as there were a few droplets inside when I checked. As long as thaw or rain runs off and/or soaks into the ground, these work well. Again, not for standing water. Perfect for what I wanted for not having to worry about moisture getting into the connection causing potential shorts or corrosion.

Es muy buen producto, pero un poco difícil cerrarlo. Los clips de cerrar quizá con mucho uso se puedan llegar a romper. Pero no es caro.

Work great for the Christmas lights, compact wise is what I wanted and these fit the bill GFCI outlet tripped (sometimes) before using these. The here have fixed my issue there

I've been buying these for the past 3 years to keep up with my expanding Christmas lights collection. They protect the plugs well in our cold Canadian climate. Never had an issue with water puddling inside unless you install it horizontally without looping the wires correctly. I've tried all sizes from small, medium and large. They've always performed well without issue. My recommendation is to install it vertically and loop the wire outside to prevent water running off the cord into the unit. If any bit of water does get in, it will have room to drip out.
