Pet lad dog grooming clippers
Purchased to groom our cocker spaniel, Shea rescue dog that came from many tears rescue centre. After spending 6 years of her life being used by a breeder she was quite shutdown, fear reactive and terrified of humans. She needs grooming but taking her to a groomer isn’t an option as she’s terrified of new people, these clippers are brilliant. Has taken some months of introducing them to her, they are super quiet. We’ve used them 4 times over the last year and she just calming, knowing she’ll come to no harm.

Very good quality clippers.

Quiet but strong
My dogs are usually quite skitish around the louder clippers but are fine with these, I'd say almost enjoyed the pampering. They do require oiling quite frequently or at least the lcd displays as such and with such a little bottle of oil I'd think about buying some oil to go with it if you intend to use frequently.

PetLab Dog Clippers Deliver a Smooth, Low-Noise Groom at Home
PetLab Dog Clippers Deliver a Smooth, Low-Noise Groom at HomeWith over 4,000 positive reviews and a 4.3 out of 5 star rating, the PetLab Professional Dog Grooming Clippers have proven their worth for pet parents looking to DIY groom their furry friends at home. As the owner of a rambunctious Goldendoodle who despises visits to the groomer, I was eager to try these clippers and see if I could tackle grooming on my own. After testing the PetLab clippers for a few months now, I can safely say they live up to their promises and then some. The clippers are very quiet - especially compared to cheaper models that sound like lawnmowers. My dog is much calmer being groomed at home with these whisper-quiet clippers. They still provide more than enough power to cut through my dog's thick, curly coat thanks to the titanium acute-angle blade and 5500 RPM motor. What really sets the PetLab clippers apart is their rechargeable battery. I can groom my entire dog on one 2 hour charge. The battery indicator lets me know when its time to recharge. The clippers also come with multiple comb guides so I can trim my dog's body and face to the perfect length without nicking his skin. For pet owners looking for professional-quality grooming without the hassle and cost of a groomer visit, the PetLab Dog Clippers are a phenomenal product. My dog's coat has never looked better and the grooming experience is far less stressful for both of us. I would highly recommend these clippers to any pet parent!

Not great at all...
I normally use my Wahl wired clippers that I use on my head to occasionally groom my dog, a poodle. This works fine but them being wired can be a little frustrating at times and with the addition of other things in this kit I thought I'd give it a shot. I was also interested to see how much better ceramic and titanium blades would be than just titanium.I charged up the device etc and set up my grooming table. After a shapoo and blow dry with a comb I was ready to start cutting the hair. I was disappointed pretty much from the start and my dog wasn't impressed either.Firstly due to it being battery powered as opposed to mains you can audiably hear the speed of the trimmers slow down when a little more than a few strands of hair are in it grasps. I think this is where the main problems stem from. The 'ceramic' looks and feels like plastic and is not as good as my pure metal Wahl pair.Hair snags between the plastic clip-on length guided and the blades causing pulled hair for the dog which isn't nice at all.The grooves in the blades are tiny meaning it barely cuts any hair. This makes the grooming process incredibly laborious and slow with you having to clean clumps of hair out from the plastic every pass or so.The scissors are a bit of a joke and pretty much just squish hair between them unless you force your fingers to apply pressure to the blades. The tightening mechanism also doesn't work on them, perhaps that's just for show.I didn't use the nail clippers as they looked like a toy in comparison to my usual pair.I was hoping this set wouldn't be another bit of 'cheap rubbish from China' but of course it was. I'll be returning them soon as they are so unfit for purpose it's a joke.

Battery could be better
Noise is fairly quiet so wouldn’t scare the dog. The battery life doesn’t last very long and had to charge a few times whilst using it on a medium dog. Performance is okay but could be better. Sometime I had to go over the same spot a few times. Appearance is okay but wasn’t looking for anything special. It’s okay value for money but there might be better products out there.
