They work. Before, I was getting eaten alive by tiger mosquitoes in my front garden. And no, there is no standing water anywhere. I even bought a bird bath to put dunks in so I could potentially kill mosquito larvae, but that was just a vain hope. I doubt any mosquito used it, and no bird has ever used it, probably because it's a garish pink, and there's a electric blue bird that probably scares off birds. Murphy's Lemon Eucalyptus oil doesn't really seem to work either. I still spray it for the placebo effect. I was still getting eaten alive. I tried this in desperation. It's pretty cheap, so I figured, why not. I had pretty low expectations. Since it is fairly cheap, I burn two sticks at a time (carefully pull it apart from either the ends or the middle, and they won't break, but if they do, then just use the pan. I love how they give you two options to burn the incense), and I try to put one under the chair when I'm sitting outside. As long as you sit in the smoke, it seems to work. I now brazenly wear shorts when I'm out. I can relax in my front garden and watch my kids run around. The neighbors still have mosquitos, but in my little cloud of anti mosquito incense, I am left alone. The stick seems to last for hours. I haven't sat in my garden for 8 hours to know if they last that long. I usually just break off the burning part by pushing the live end against the concrete flower pot and then it breaks off (exposing the cool, non burning part), so I can re-use it. My kids are sometimes upwind of the smoke, and they get eaten. So I know it's this that's working, and not that the mosquitoes have moved out. I also brought it to a friend's place for his son's birthday party. The guests were getting eaten alive until I put some of these out. I did get 3 bites on my ankles, but I think I wasn't completely in the smoke. But it works better than the Murphy's Lemon Eucalyptus Oil or nothing at all. The scent is fine, I don't really notice it when i'm outside. The stick is thick enough that it stays lit pretty well once you've lit it. Initially takes a bit for the stick to start burning. Seems fresh as the unburnt stick still smells of whatever they put in it. I'm so glad I got these because now I can actually enjoy sitting out in front of my house! Well, not now because it's muggy and hot, but that's a different problem.

I love to sit on my patio late at night. And normally that’s when the mosquitoes are really bad. I wasn’t sure about this product, but after reading the reviews, I decided to try it. Now I can sit on my patio and relax in comfort no worries of mosquitoes. It really works. The fragrance is pleasant. It smells like lemongrass. This product really work and I’ll be more than happy to order again. The price is remarkable for 160 and not to mention a free instant holder.

Purchased product to help keep away mosquitoes and bugs. It works if you place them in correct way. I used 4 sticks around my pool area. No bites.

The citronella incense sticks work and have a pleasant scent. They help create a more comfortable outdoor environment, but they burn faster than I expected, so I had to replace them more often. Overall, it's still a good product and does the job, but I wish each stick lasted a little longer.

Not as fragrant as I had hoped. Did not find much in the way of Christmas scents. The peach apple was nice however, not Christmasy. Did not put out much smoke. As for thickness, Sadly a bit skinny.

I lit a mosquito stick and took a walk through our swamp and the mosquitoes and bugs left me alone. The scent is nice and the thickness of the stick makes it easy to put out and relight if needed. I plan on taking the rest camping and going to figure out a way to use them on the river in my kayak.

They work as intended without being overwhelming in fragrance. They've done a great job keeping mosquitos and gnats at bay even in the southern summer humidity and rainstorms, so I'd definitely recommend. They are also just the right size to burn for an hour or two before fading out. They'd definitely make a great gift for anyone that enjoys spending time outside. I didn't realize until I got them that they can also be used inside, so I've enjoyed using them inside since it's currently gnat breeding season.

This product actually works amazing. Whenever I light it, I get no mosquitoes. I saw a documentary once and it showed that citronella works the best against mosquitoes. I can honestly say this is a really good product. I’m happy I got it.
